“Great factory store - taste what you like”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 1, 2013

We were so enthusiastic about this place. It is a factory shop with cookies where you can taste every kind of offered biscuits (both sweet and salt). We especially liked "barentatzen" (hope it´s the right name) and bought several packs. There is also a café where you can sit, order something great to drink and watch the smiling confectioners of Kambly doing their work. There is also a historical kitchen where you can watch a movie about the history of the company.
Warning: Don´t try to taste everything :-D

“Cookie heaven!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 30, 2013

We biked the countryside using the excellent Swiss bike trails and reached our destination with much excitement. We entered Kambly and we were like two posssessed as we tried as many cookies as humanly possible. You see, Kambly makes it easy...they have shelves with bags of cookies, and on each shelf, a tin with cookies to try. I do recommend that you try to visit if you like cookies.
I would just like to thank all the people of Kambly for proving two crazy Americans with many cookies and even more fun memories!

“Completely great”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 29, 2013

If you take the train to go there you have a very swiss trip in train, then you can taste as many biscuits as you want, for free. You see the history of Kambly biscuits.
Everybody is friendly, the prices are good, there is a generous environment and the kids and the grown-up enjoy!

“The Kambly Experience: Fine Biscuits from Switzerland”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 4, 2011

Switzerland is not only the country of chocolate, cheese and watches! Also different bigger and smaller companies are producing fine biscuit and deliver it to the whole world. One of them is Kambly at Trubschachen at the Emmental.
If you follow the path with the red carpet from the railway station to the factory outlet you get a lot of information about the history of the company and some secrets of fine biscuit making.
From Tuesday to Saturday one can visit the outlet with movies, a café and a factory shop from 80.30 am until 7 pm. The entrance is free.
From Tuesday to Saturday from 10 to 12 am and from 2 to 4 pm you can see how these biscuits are made (handmade demonstration).
The special Kambly train leaves Berne at 5:37 am, 9:37 am, 1:37 pm and 5:37 pm and from Lucerne at 7:57 am, 11:57 am, 3:57 pm and 7:57 pm but you can take any other train which circulate at least once an hour in each direction.
