There's not much left in Florida, MO. You'll find the remnants of a once larger town and a memorial marking where Mark Twain was born. The actual house has been moved to the state historic site and museum.
There is a small fee for the museum, which contains the house and some exhibits about Mark Twain. There's also a short documentary about the author. It's a very small but well maintained museum. The woman working the front desk was very pleasant and helpful.
