“Great find”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2014

The food and service is really great! It's gourmet quality, but not gourmet priced! I would expect to pay a lot more in switzerland for the quality of food here! The Waiter was really attentive and was joking around with our kids which is kind of rare in switzerland! I'm lucky that it is walking distance to my house!

“Refreshed”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 11, 2014

We have been a few years back already once to this restaurant.
And we did visit it again on March 7th, 2014.
What a difference! New interior deco and furniture gave the place a very comfortable ambiance.
Food was very tasty, masterly prepared and served in nice designed plates and bowls (new too).
Service was helpful and very friendly.

The only drawback I can thin off (if it is one that is...) is the relatively limited choice of dishes.
We were a group of 6 people and everyone ordered something else.
All were happy with their choice.
And the best part is that prices are not exaggerated but move within a fair range.
We recommend it anytime!

“Very nice place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed February 8, 2014

I got there and my initial feeling was - "nice place!" the decor is modern spacious and simplistic.

When it came to the food- entree(ouverture)/appetizer or however you call the first course was delicious and set the bar pretty high.
The main course was also very good and very clean but just fell short of expectation. Don't get me wrong it was good- but it wasn't wow. I had the canard and others had the braised beef cheeks.

Service was impeccable !

“Excellent Daily Luncheon Menu”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 18, 2013

Having just been promoted to a listing in Gault et Millau, I went there for lunch. I was not disappointed!
I choose the full menu of three plates at CHF 35, but you can also choose 1 or 2 dishes.
The first dish was a soup plate with 6 Tortellini de Chevre in a Volontee de Courge. The pasta was surely done in-house and the dish was very well balanced.
It was followed by a grilled Pave de Espadon/Duo de Lantilles et saladine de roquette. It is not often that restaurants offer Espadon and this one was perfectly cooked and a large piece. It went well with the lentils.
For dessert I was served a Pear and Almond Tart served with a Pear sorbet. A bit dry, but tasty.
With the meal I had a couple of glasses from one of the 3 choices of open wines-a Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot blend, named Manou Petit 2011 (CHF 7.50/dl). It was excellent.
All around it was a very good meal and well worth it. It will now be on my list of "repeats".
