There are not many options for accommodation in this town, so I decided to go for Rajhans based on the reviews here and the web-pages of the hotel. I could not recognize the hotel from the photos in its web-page. Either they are taken from another hotel or have been carefully constructed otherwise. There seems to be a picture of quite a luxurious suite in the web. So I did book the AC suite expecting something at least close. The room was spacious (number 301) but as dirty looking as the room in any small hotel in this part of the continent. No English channel for news on TV, but StarMovies does show. There is a good internet cafe nearby opposite the V2 shop.
So the hotel was a disappointment based on the idea you get from the web-pages with fitness centre, roof-top swimming pool, exlusive suites etc. as you will find the normal block of paint-peeling dirty concrete you could realistically expect.
At 4.30 am the street below starts buzzling with trucks blowing their horns and you will wake up unless wearing ear-protection.
There was no hot water for shower, although the hotel particularly advertises with this.
But what was great was the service at reception. The guys are really helpful and speak good English most of them. The hotel provided reasonably priced car for rent with ac.
Will stay again if coming to this town again. But not likelyt to come to this town again!
