“A must visit place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2013

This place is enroute from Chaukori to Munsiyari. We stopped at this place before Munsiyari. First you get a view of the falls from a distance, as you come nearer you can see how beautiful it is. There is a KMVN TRH at this place, where you can take a break and have tea and pakora. If you want to go near the falls where it is falling over the stones, you have to climb up stairs for some distance, which starts from the TRH and when we reached there, it was really awesome. It is a must visit place if you are going to Munsiyari, though it is not far from Chaukori also. It is possible to go from Chaukori, visit the place and come back to Chaukori on the same day. “Birthi Falls”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2013

Falls enroute to Munsiyari, falls appear suddenly as you round the last U bend,

best approacheable from the KMVN premises, you can park the car at KMVN it self.

resting house near the top of the falls is dirty ..nothing much to do apart from having a look at the falls.

KMVN @birthi is however very good

“Do not miss the water powered wheat grinding machine”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed April 20, 2013

Cab drivers will stop at a bridge for you to go up to Birthi falls. Instead, you go down and there will be small house like structure. Instead that is location the only working wheat grinding machine that is powered by water. Do not miss this in case you have teenage children who can experience science in olden days.....
