Owner description: Hardys Animal Farm is a great day out in over 7 acres of Lincolnshire countryside yet just 10 minutes walk from the beach, with loads of things to do and animals for you to meet feed and make friends with... It's a great day out, whatever the weather! You can see pigs being born in our specially glazed breeding unit, and feed the goats, cattle, and many other animals allowing the children to learn about modern farming and interact with animals in a safe and fun environment. We also have baby Lambs, Goats, Cows and Chicks being born throughout the year. There is plenty of space for the kids to run off energy in our adventure playgrounds, while you can relax in our award winning tearooms with a hot drink or a bite to eat. Then if the weather is good, you can all go on a relaxing Cart Ride around the Farm with Fergie the Tractor. With our giant outdoor play fort, and the new Haystacks Indoor Playbarn, there are loads of things to do come rain or shine. We are located just north of Skegness, on Anchor Lane in Ingoldmells... Just off the A52. The Number 3 Bus stops at the end of the farm road, running every 8-10 minutes from Skegness, Ingoldmells, Butlins & Fantasy Island

“Great day out!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 28, 2012

I have been coming to Hardys animal farm for about 15 years now. It has changed over the years but still a great place to visit wet or dry. It is £24.00 for a family ticket which is 2 adults 2 children. You can buy bags of food for the animals to feed them. There are some animals you cant feed because they bite. They have an outdoor play area with a go kart race track. Inside there is a cafe with a big indoor play area including a football pitch with a goal and 2 balls. They do a tractor and cart ride in the morning in the afternoon it swaps to horse and cart with Gemma the shire horse. It costs 50p each per person on both rides. There are several things happening through the day like stroking the pigs and meeting the baby animals. There are goats and sheep in the nusery which you can feed. There is a duck pond and sometimes if youre lucky you can see baby ducklings in there. The toliets are clean. You can have a play around with the tractors for free. There is a pig pen with pigs in and piglets you can see some in labour some times if youre lucky you might even see some piglets being born. Now when you go in the goat pens dont get your bag to near the goats because they snatch the whole lot of you and you have none left. Hope you like my review and get to go.

“Too expensive, not enough to do”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2012

We visited this farm on the 8th July, and were very disappointed. It costs £6.25 each for the adults and my 3 year old son alike! It took us less than an hour to look around the animals who seemed to be kept in quite small dirty pens! The ride-on tractors cost an extra £1 to go on which I think is disgraceful after paying over £24 to get in to the place and the option to go on a tractor ride which cost a further 50p!!! The indoor play barn was lovely but we were told we couldn't eat our sandwiches inside as you're only allowed food/ drink purchased in the cafe to be eaten, despite there being no facilities to eat your own food indoors and it was raining outside! Sorry Hardy's but will not be visting you again.

“Great place for kids!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2012

This is a lovely day out for young kids. The indoor play area is very good. The food was excellent! Lots of animals to see! The only down-side was that it was £6.25 per person (adults and kids alike) and there was a tractor ride, which you had to pay extra for, and some sit on tractors which you also had to pay extra for.
