“Shocking pub, rude staff, over priced”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 24, 2013

I used to be a regular at the Cherry Orchard pub, because of the location the play facilities etc. but in the last year or so it has really gone down hill.
I think it is due to the management and the level of customer service, and when you have fantastic pubs near by like the Arrowe Park it is only a matter of time until this pub will unfortunately fold.
If the owners read these reviews I would seriously consider having a major overhaul because you staff are losing you regulars.
And it is a shame because the pub it self could be a high performer.

“A very pleasant experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 15, 2013

I went here last night 14th feb (valentines). My boyfriend and I thought it would be a nice quite place to relax and have a meal, and it was. The lady behind the bar had set up a lovely table for us and the young lad gave us table service throughout the whole meal. We had the 3 course valentines menu. We both had Wexford chicken and it was gorgeous! The chicken was hot and the sauce was tasty. I will be returning to this place as they offer an excellent carvery on a Sunday. And it's 241!!!

1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 13, 2013

arrived at cherry orchard with my family ,ordered meals ,sat and waited, was not busy in restaurant at the time we went in the evening on sunday.meals arrived ,my meal was chicken and chips and mixed veg ( i asked for mash but was told have to have chips only ) i had a few oven chips which were awful,a spoonful of tiny garden peas ,chicken was covered in a splodge of gravy? chicken was freezing cold ,very poor meal,my daughters meals were even worse ! fish was so small and dry i think a fish finger is bigger than what we got .my gran daughters meal was congealed mass of spaghetti and mince plus sauce stuck in a small bowl which was cold .a terrible meal ,will never go back again ,give this place a miss and go else where.

“Not for a special occasion”
1 of 5 stars Reviewed February 5, 2013

Not very welcoming you stick to the tables - food when it arrived was cold but on the other hand the carvery was quite good. Definitely would not return there unless everything else was booked up in the area.
