I was part of a golf competition held at Vila Sol. From the moment I was greeted at the hotel reception the feeling during my stay was that the hotel staff could not do enough for you.
The service offered at the resort is one that is not available on courses in the UK. With warm weather (18 C) at the end of November and just over two hours from the UK it is a fantastic golfing resort.

This was my first golf holiday at a resort in Europe, and it will not be my last at Vila Sol. The service was 5 star from the concierge and front lobby staff to the waiters in the restaurant to the staff at the golf course. The food and ammenities were above average and there were many excellent suggestions for day trips and meals ' a la locals' when we were off the resort. The accomodations were clean and well appointed. The 27 holes of golf will test golfers of all levels, while still enjoying the various art forms on the course.

Would I recommend this place to my friends? You betcha!

I qualified to represent Canada at the Vila Sol golf challenge at the Vila Sol resort in Vilamoura Portugal. The resort was truly 5 star. I was staying in a villa and it was beautifully appointed with maid service twice per day. The bathroom even had a heated towel warmer.

The resort has a wonderful breakfast which has everything you could possibly want to eat on it. The service at breakfast was great. After the first day the staff knew I liked herbal tea for breakfast and even remembered what flavor I had the day before.

The golf staff were equally great and very helpful getting my golf clubs on the electric buggy each day.

The tournament organized at the resort for 256 golfers from 18 countries was extremely well organized and presented. The resort is beautiful and everything was very well done from the pairings sheets being posted to the Leaderboard and professional photographer following the golfers around taking candid snaps.

I would definitely return to Vila Sol resort. It is highly recommended.

I discovered Vila Sol at a Golf Show and am glad that i stayed in contact with their representative as the experience at the resort was fantastic!

Truly one of the hi-lites of the vacation and i would recommend to anyone. The resort and facilities are first class. The private beach area is a very nice touch and the golf course is an enjoyable experience for all skill levels.
