Went here on our first night after wandering around the marina. Wasn't very impressed!! I had the garlic bread to start, which was a roll, cut in half with some garlic butter on it. Probably the poorest attempt at it I have ever had. To follow a couple of us had steak - I asked for mine medium and the other was medium/rare. After an hour's wait after our starter, we asked where our main was. It was obvious it had been sat out somewhere, as suddenly it appeared and no apology for the delay. The steaks were well done. Not even near medium, but by this point we were starving. I would like to add that although they had cooked the steaks wrong, the sauces were lovely and the meal very edible. Another of our party had cod for his main course and said it was lovely.
The staff were rubbish - moody, unattentive and looked like they'd rather be elsewhere - the restaurant wasn't even full, so I have no idea what had happened for the service to go so wrong.
I wouldn't go back there. With such a wide range of restaurants, I would've expected them to have to be on top form all the time to see off the competition, not halfhearted serving and not producing what the customer has requested.
