“Great food. Great service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 31, 2013

We visited as a Party of 4, the service was great. We had to ask for the traditional appetisers which most restaurants in Portugal include in your corkage fee. There was nothing spectacular to talk about and there was nothing negative either. Just a pleasant experience.

“Nice piri piri”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed December 16, 2013

We fancied something fresh and spicy and so given the few options at the time of our visit, and the decent reviews for fish/grills here we gave it a shot! Both had the piri piri chicken and though it was tasty it was nothing amazing to write home about....I love authentic fresh food but prefer nandos??? Sorry

“Very welcoming”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2013

I ate here with 7 freinds on a golf tour. They gave us two bottles of free wine which were actually very good and not the cheap plonk we had anticipated. All the party agreed the food was excellent with the steaks gaining particular praise from all that had them (over half of us).
In fact some of the party wanted to go back on anther night but time didnt alow us to. Next time we visit we already have this place pencilled in.

“Lovely meal... with a few reservations”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2013

looked around the marina on a sunny Saturday afternoon, not too busy. picked this place out and sat on the patio beside the fancy boats. lovely spot.
Waiters looked bored, waiter put can of coke on table which I had to open & pour myself. I chose prawn cocktail, gorgeous, gf had fish soup.
We had the fish stew (cataplana) for 2 (€48) for main course which was lovely, absolutely loads of different fishy stuff. Though it was presented nicely & tasted delicious it would have been nice if the waitress could have explained what fish were in the pot etc but there was no interaction whatsoever, again she looked bored.
At no time were we asked if we were enjoying our meal, and there was only 1 other couple eating at this point... and no one offered any re-fills or more drinks or if meal ok.
BUT... the food was really nice.
Bill came to €90 (it was at this point we noticed the prawn cocktail had been €14.95!!!), slightly high considering no dessert but really enjoyed meal.
Would return no problem.

“Very good chicken peri peri”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2013

Chicken peri peri was fantastic. Bit disappointed with grilled fish but not too bad.
Very nice staff, good decor. Not expensive.
