Stayed at the Hotel Op de Boud during our trip to Floriade in Venlo. It is a family run hotel and the staff were very friendly, unlike "Jacksons22" description! Also the food was good, if, however, you enjoy going from the table overstuffed and uncomfortable, then no the meal won't suit!!! 3 courses of homemade food tasty and quite adequate was a joy!!! Would definitely return here, maybe Christmas!!!!Yes there is a garden, winding through little ponds and wood carvings, this year the gentleman of the house had a wonderful totem pole made from one of his trees to celebrate the World Championships for Road Cycling which were on there this year!! Lovey walking around in the evening, gorgeous tree house for kids!!!! Not too far from town centre either, utterly charming. Our room was large and also large bathroom, winding corridors added to its charm!!! Large skittle alley is also on site, as well as a quiet lounge for those who cannot bear to be parted from their computer etc!!!
