I stayed here when visiting Amsterdam and found this to be a very good hotel. The same hotel in central Amsterdam would be more than double the price. It is only a 3 min walk from the station and there are frequent shuttles to the central station in Amsterdam itself (takes 20 mins on the train).
You can't hear the planes at the airport from the room (with windows shut) and even open, the noise is minimal.
Staff were very friendly and helpful.
The breakfast is good (all you can eat buffet style) and the room very comfortable.
I would definitely recommend this hotel if you want a quality, quiet place to stay at reasonable prices.
The only down sides were:
The bar is very expensive.
They only serve pre-prepared snacks and not real food.
Hoofdorp (the town nearest the hotel) is a 10 min walk and shuts down at 10pm. I arrived late and couldn't find anywhere to eat as the restaurants had all closed for the night. There is a choice of restaurants: Chinese, Japanese, Pizza take-away and a take away kebab place.
