very good quality hotel, swimming pool ,sauna,fitness suite excellent.restaurant very nice ,breakfast good ,only down side to this hotel is the distance to amsterdam centraal,very good free shuttle service to schiphol where a train to amst centraal was easily obtained.

We stayed overnight on our way to Bonaire. Nicely placed for an overnight stay but not ideal for a holiday stay. The wellness centre is great with a good pool open to all residents. Good restaurant, nicely decorated. The food is nicely cooked and not overly expensive. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Excellent bus service to and from the airport.

We stayed here the night before an early flight from Shiphol. Rooms were ok, very nice Spa (free). Easy to reach coming from the good direction, otherwise you have to take the first exit on the highway and come back round, that not so cool. Free shuttle to Shiphol, even at 6 o' clock, so that was nice. Didn't have breakfast as it started a bit late for us and was quiet expensive. Nice bar with free nuts in the evening. Price was was reasonable, so would def stay here again to take a flight the next day. Remember to take a bottle of water with you, expensive when buying in the hotel...

Stayed 4 nights there, was given a room in the rear section of the hotel. But there weren't signs for all the rooms so we were lost at the lobby for a while not sure how to go to our rooms. But that's just for the first day.

Because the rooms were so far away from the reception, imagine if you have a faulty room card, you will find it very annoying to walk all the way back to the reception.

The room was huge, not that I had a special room. I believe mines the same with everyone else's. My initial complaint was that there were no hanging strings in the bathroom so if you are doing your own laundry, you will have to hang it at the balcony on the chairs. I asked and they don't provide laundry racks. I asked for an iron and was told to collect it at the reception which was a long walk. If you want laundry to be done by the hotel, you got to bring it to the reception in the morning and collect it there in the evening - they won't send it to your rooms.

Breakfast spread was fantastic which was saving grace.

For a big hotel (565 rooms) it delivers good service, clean comfortable rooms, nice bath room with both tub and separate shower, there is a exercise room, a bar, a pool, free airport pickup and a good restaurant - a bit pricey but good. The downside is that with the volume of people that go through this hotel you can feel like a faceless traveler - a number. Also, the 'standard room' (see photo) is just a basic room with bed & TV. It lacks niceties such as: minibar, ice machine near by (front desk can give you ice), no microwave, etc. That said, I used this hotel as a base to explore Holland... I would do it again without hesitation. Recommended - Good Value

This hotel is served by a shuttle bus from the airport (about 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic). It is large and modern, in a car park next to the motorway, with a service station opposite where you can get a cheap lunch.

The hotel is very strange. The rooms are large, and many have balconies, but it is very impersonal. They have tried to improve the style by buying in large but impractical armchairs for the restaurant (when it is full it is very difficult to shift one of the big red chairs out to sit down - you almost have to climb across your neighbours to get into a seat by the wall). In fact, there are huge armchairs and sofas all over the place - in reception, in the peculiar smoking room on the landing as well as in the restaurant. The downstairs ladies' toilet is worth a visit on tourism grounds - it has the feel of a sixties diner, with shocking pink washstands and a television (a waste of electricity as it seems to be little used). The layout of the hotel is also odd - the exit is to the right hand side of the reception area although it looks as if it was intended that there should be an exit on both sides and I saw some people heading down the stairs only having to climb back up. The bedrooms are not well signposted and there were even more people wandering the corridors looking lost, only to find that their rooms were best approached through the conference centre.The bedrooms were comfortable, though mine had a slightly stale smell, and if you want to plug a laptop in to sit at the desk the lighting is very poor - it needs more sockets.

The restaurant, where we had breakfast, lunch and dinner, is buffet style. Some of the food is nice, but nothing was labelled so you opened serving dish after serving dish to see stews with unidentifiable meat or fish. There were not enough staff on hand so serving spoons were moved by the patrons from dish to dish - a nightmare for anyone with a food allergy. Rather strangely, there was no cutlery on the tables - why not provide at least one set at the start?

On the plus side, the reception staff were pleasant.
