I attended a business meeting at the Huis Ter Duin in late August 2004. I was very impressed with the property; having stayed at a number of upscale hotels in the Amsterdam area over the past few years I have low expectations of these places. The Huis Ter Duin is a real exception!
The front desk staff is attentive, as is the business center. The rooms are nice, clean and simple. I had no problems with water pressure as a previous reviewer mentioned.
Food was very good, although for our meeting we seemed to have the same food each day for two days (that could have been a feature of our meeting planner, and not the hotel). Breakfast was excellent both days.
The beach is very nice, and the ocean breeze was most refreshing. I recommend the Huis Ter Duin for anyone on holiday in Holland. This would be a wonderful location for touring the bulb fields during spring!

Stayed in grand hotel huis ter duin for a short time (some 2 days) and was impressed with the service. The suites were luxuriously appointed and top floor suites had a remarkable view. The suites were complete with a vast array of technology! The food was excellent and there are many nice walks to take around Noordwijk on the beach. The hotel pool was also very impressive. Probably one of the best 5 star hotels in Noordwijk

I know this is a 5 star hotel, but I have stay in better Motel 6 that are better than this. Water pressure in the bathroom is cold, hot, cold, hot, and is ssoooo slow. My normal 15/Min. shower turn into an 45/Min. one over there. The service over there is basically not existed. Ask to speak with the supervisor on a few occasions, and they are never available. I have been to a few country in Europe, and stay in many different European hotels. Understood that services over there are different. But at Grand Hotel Huis Ter Duin is not just different, it is simply bad, bad, very bad.
