“The best place to stay in Tuscany”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2014

Tre Madonne is the best place to stay in Tuscany. Property is excellent and the rooms are immaculate. One of the best expierences I have ever had staying at a B&B. The attention to detail is fantastic and everyone there treats you very kind. If I could live there for ever I would. This is the best place to stay at.

Room Tip: All rooms are fantastic

Lilia and Antonello are very positive, generous and  wonderful people who are always smiling and willing to help and provide excellent information.
Antonello recommended several excursions and places of interest that were great.

The House is located in the middle of the fields, in a beautiful spot about 10 kms from Siena.
The apartment is furnished and decorated with very good taste, very clean and has everything you need for a pleasant stay.

The garden and pool area are very well-kept and it is a wonderful pleasure to relax on a lounge chair after a hard day walking the streets of Siena or visiting the wonderful surrounding villages.

The breakfasts are superb. Sitting at a table in the beautiful garden under a tree, we have enjoyed a plentiful breakfast in which we must highlight the delicious pastries made by LILIA, who is always attentive to see if we need something

Definitely, a wonderful place for staying, ………. from where is difficult to leave.

Thanks LILIA and Antonello.
(To stop in ORVIETO in our way to Rome  was a wonderful suggestion. THANKS again, Antonello)

We spent almost 2 weeks in Tre Madonne in April and we really enjoy it. It was quite, clean and we had nice view. The only down side was the heating as the days were unfortunately cold in April and we needed to heat the apartment (it costs extra).

Despite this we really like the location and the owners Lila and Antonello are lovely!
There is also a swimming pool outside that's look really nice and in summer it is definitely a big plus.

We stayed for 4 nights in an apartment in October, 2013. It was our first trip to Italy. We are an older couple from the US. Fortunately for us, it was porcini season. Antonello, the owner, and his good friend gathered the porcinis, and Lilia, Antonello's wife, prepared a dinner worthy of 4.stars. We had the privilege of dining with Antonello and his friend, as Lilia served us her fantastic meal, all in their restaurant/dining room, which is a former stable with original vaulted brick ceilings, replete with photographs of their race horses, one of which was ridden by Antonello in the famous race held in Siena. Our apartment was spacious, charming, and spotlessly clean with modern bathroom and kitchen-in-a-cupboard. Great value and a good location from which to drive around Tuscany.

we stayed for two weeks in the detached cottage lampone..the cottage was spotless and in excellent order. We arrived from rome very late at night having trouble with car hire and Fabio welcomed us. We didnt not have time to buy supplies for the following morning however Fabio brought fresh coffee , cake and bread with jams.Nice touch. The farm sits in the middle of a natural forest and is stunning. The facilities were amazing and the pool was great for staying refreshed and keeping my son happy!! You need a car for sure however we did hire a taxi one evening into Siena which takes around 20 mins and costs around 23 euro each way. Highly recommend staying here...

We spent voor one weeks here for holliday with our twins, it was a lovely place to stay. Fabulous accomodation and our hosts Lilia and Antonello were very friendly, the room was comfortable and very clean, and the pools were lovely and refreshing. It was a fantastic location to explore the rest of Tuscany from. I would definitely visit again. Thanks you Lilia and Antonello for your hospitality and kindness!!

Pictures on the website don't really do this place justice--it's much better, actually, idyllic. We loved this place and our hosts Antonello and Lillia. It's a real farm on a hillside above a valley 15 minutes from Siena with lovely rooms, common areas, swimming pool and fields of sunflowers and orzo. Lillia will make you a wonderful meal and Antonello can advise you about the area since he's lived here all his life. We always stay at country places like this but I have to say, I think this is my new favorite. Fantastic value, highly recommended--thank you Antonello and Lillia!
