“not for less abled”

Dont attempt the Acropolis of Lindos when it is too hot
We did this trip at about 11am and it was 44degrees by then and very busy. You can get the donkey taxi up to the Acropolis.
300 + steps and some really uneven surfaces, make sure you have some good footwear.
If you have walking, breathing difficulties stay at the bottom and wander around the village of Lindos instead.
I am glad we did it but wouldnt do it again!!!

“Nice view and ancient building”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2014

We went to Lindos to see the Acropolis. We arrived at 9h00 to be sure it is not to hot. Despite, it was very hot and we had to wait nearly 15 mins to enter. The place was overcrowed by tourist busses so it was necessarry to go and follow them. The view at the highest point was superb. I think this acropolis would be advised to do after 16h. Than, you have more space to see what you want to see, and the temperature is already a little less. Entrence fee: 6 euro

“Fascinating history and perfect views”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2014

My partner and I went on a day trip to Lindos from a nearby resort and thoroughly enjoyed the ruins. It was a good climb to the top but achievable for any able bodied person. Once at the top the ruins are very impressive - it's amazing to think that this was built over 2000 years ago. To top it all off, the views from the top were stunning, and there are plenty of great spots for a photograph. Would thoroughly recommend.

“Stunning views”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 11, 2014

We went to the acropolis early in the morning when it first opened to try and avoid the worst of the heat, and it was quiet at this time.
Found it interesting historically but the highlight for me were the views.
