“Nice village”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 7, 2014

It is a traditional Greek village. White buildings and stone roads look so nice. Here you can also buy some very unique souvenir. And the prices are cheaper than Rhodes.

“Wear your grip priest soled shoes!!!!”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 6, 2014

We have not been to Lindos for about twelve years and the most significant change is the snack foods on offer-there is an overwhelming smell of Nuttell for waffles and crepes!! It gets ver busy when the coach trips arrive and the poor donkeys have to carry tank sized adults, through the cobbled streets and up to the Acropolis-please walk if you are able.
The streets are predominantly pebbles. They are treacherous, if the soles of your footwear are in anyway shiny. I have even seen trainer wearers slipping on some of the hilly bits.
The shops are expensive, so if you see something that you
Iike,it would be prudent to check the prices in other towns. We found that Rhodes town was cheaper for the same goods(especially jewellery) and we're told that Faliraki is even better value, still.
Linen goods are very expensive in Lindos.

“Lindos”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2014

It is full of character with narrow car free cobble streets, excellent quality roof top resturants at a fair price with romantic views of bays and Accoropalis. The bays are a swimmer delight with crystal clear waters. It's mine and my husbands favourite greece destination.

“Lovely small town with a variety of roofgarden restaurants”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2014

Lindos is a very small and beautiful town. The narrow alleyways, white houses and mosaic pavements give the town a very unique look. Taking diner or a snack in one of the roof garden restaurants is mandatory.

Unfortunately the town was quite crowded during noon and offers the typical tourist shops you can see in any other part of the world.

The walk up to the Akropolis doesn't take too long and the view there on the seaside and Lindos town is fantastic. You can also take a ride on a donkey uphill if you feel to do so.
