“Wonderful hotel, amazing holiday in Rhodes”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2015

My husband and I stayed here at the beginning of September 2014 for 10 nights’. It’s a very nice hotel. We had a sea view room on the top floor. Cannot remember the room number but the room was right in the middle of the row of rooms so we had a fantastic sea view. The room itself was a very good size – consisting of a double bed, desk with tv and chair, a fridge, a small table and chair, comfy sofa which looked like it unfolded into an extra bed and of course a table and chairs out on the balcony. Do not be surprised if your double bed is made up of two single beds pushed together this is the norm in Greece! Room was spotless and always cleaned to a high standard. The bathroom was spacious and fulfilled its purpose; there was also enough space to place your toiletries.

During our first night the AC unit had leaked all over the floor outside the bathroom. We reported this to reception in the morning who arranged to have this resolved the same day; which it was.

The only let down with the hotel is that you have to pay to use the safe but I have found this is a common charge in Greece. Also, you have to pay for wifi in your room. Wifi is free in the hotel lobby area so you will always find people sat along the bench there on their mobiles! You can also use the internet on a PC in the lobby at a charge.

The food selection at all meal times was amazing. We were very much surprised at the amount of choice available and were never disappointed. Whilst we are both meat eaters we feel that they had a good selection of vegetarian food also.

Bar staff were friendly and nothing was too much trouble for them. We enjoyed sitting on the sofas at the outdoor bar overlooking the beach in the evenings.

We hired a car via a local company who have a desk in the hotel lobby. They were very good and we had no complaints. Would highly recommend hiring a car to travel around Rhodes, it’s not difficult and allows you to see the rest of the island at your own pace.

There is a gentleman on the beach selling lazy cruise excursions with Captain Manolis. We went on the full day cruise and it was a great way to spend our Sunday!

You have to pay a deposit for the use of towels but this is refunded when you hand in your towels at the end of your stay. Towels are collected from and changed at the spa reception.

The hotel had daily spa offers which were good value. We booked an offer for a couples massage. The massage was ok – i’ve had better but the spa therapists were friendly. They have an indoor pool, Jacuzzi tub and a small simple gym but we did not use these as would prefer to be outside by the pool.

There are two pools outside; the main one and a kids pool. The main pool is great. They do an aqua aerobics class twice a week and there are also hotel reps who ask guests to join in with games and yoga classes.

There is a gelataria/ice cream parlour near the pool where you can get some tasty ice creams to cool down in the heat.

The hotel has a convenience store near the reception where you can pick up drinks, snacks and toiletries - reasonably priced.

Location wise, before we travelled we read quite a few reviews unhappy about the location. The hotel, despite its name, is located in Vlycha Bay. Lindos town is about a 5/10minute drive away and it is a simple route to drive youself if you want to visit Lindos and the Acropolis. If you want to get the bus anywhere then, as other reviewers have said, you would need to walk up a hill to the main road - its quite a walk especially in the heat.

We had a great holiday here and would definitely recommend!!

Lovely food, amazing pool and very friendly staff. The hotel was very very clean and luxurious.
It is a shingle beach, not sand. Very Very hot in July. Lindos town is just a short bus ride or taxi away for nightlife and shopping.

Spent the week 11-18 October 2014 our first time at this hotel but 10th in Lindos .
There has been some great tips on this site regarding this hotel , yes sea shoes are a must on the beach , yes it cost €12 to get into lindos by taxi but €8 to get back so finding someone to share would be a bonus . Yes the food is great ,breakfast you name it you can have it even cauliflower and broccoli left over from the previous night's dinner , every dinner is themed especially Friday which is called " anything left in the fridge add it to pasta and call it Italy night"
Who ever said the beds were soft must have been on drugs it was like sleeping on a concrete floor sleeping pills and painkillers helped a lot , my advice would be to buy a blow up Ii-lo or like me start your holiday 5ft 8 and stretched out to 6ft 2 . My only real concern for this hotel was me and my wife both got bitten at least 50 times by something in the bed ,def not mosquitos but every morning we would have a few more little red itchy spots, fleas, bed bugs I don't know but made it very uncomfortable.
The sea facing rooms are a must , yes you miss the afternoon Sun but you get an amazing view . The rooms are cleaned daily but we did find things getting put away in the wardrobes, why a cleaner had to go in them who knows ?
I read people found it hard walking into Lindos , a great TIP: walk along the front road until you get to Lindos mare hotel then take there lifts to the top of the hill then it's only a 15 minute walk into town and you get a great photo opportunity from the "oo-arh" corner over looking lindos.
The hotel staff were amazing especially Maria and Petros in the restaurant, Manalis who ran the pool bar and Ranie(I think that's how you spell it ) the young lady who worked in the bars ,lunch and dinner restaurant and must have worked 100 hours the week we stayed .
Would we go again ? Yes same week next year but I'll be taking a li-lo bed bug killer .
Dear Mr Hotel Manager you have great staff keep them on and give them a pay rise they work harder than you probably realise.

Holidaying at the Sentido Hotel, Lindos Bay, Rhodes is a rather pleasant experience for a short to medium stay. It's a very well run hotel with great and attentive staff who provide you with a clean and comfortable environment. Food is of a very good quality with a varied menu to suit most tastes.

We were holidaying with a couple of friends and were all on a half board basis with sea view rooms one on the 1st floor and the other on the 2nd. Both rooms were of a high standard and worthy of their 4 star rating. Air conditioning was inclusive and worked well. Sadly once again (as per most Greek Hotels) the dreaded safe issue was 20 euros a week per room, a good bit more expensive than we would have expected. For a two week holiday, it makes it a very expensive addition, for what we consider to be an essential requirement, in a hotel of this calibre. One should note that the sun rises to the seaward side of this hotel, so the seaview rooms benefit from sunshine until midday and do not get the sunset. Obviously the opposite applies to the mountain facing rooms. The chambermaids and room service were excellent.

There were never any issues with sun beds even though whilst we were staying we understood the hotel to be full. Towels were of reasonable standard though a tad small but required a pretty normal and expected deposit of 10 euros.

Entertainment in the hotel was of a varied standard from excellent to pretty basic. The high’s being the Three Tenors, Drifters Tribute & Fakir down to the low of a karaoke night which sent most residents scurrying to a premature bedtime.

Some of the things we were less keen on were the lack of tea/coffee making facilities in rooms or especially with one’s evening meals. Obviously, these could be purchased from the bar but incurred extra cost and inconvenience. Internet is pretty essential for most people these days. It was available in a small area around Reception but was pretty iffy at times. You could also get it elsewhere in the hotel but this would incur ridiculous charges in this day and age. The daftest of all omissions was the lack of any drying facilities for clothes or towels on the balcony. A simple wall fixed airer would have been very useful.

Overall we were happy with our holiday and would recommend this hotel to anyone who wanted a nice quite break. However, as this hotel is pretty remote for getting to local attractions one should factor in transportation costs as these will be necessary and will add up.

Would we go again? Probably not, but only because of its location and that we always try to go somewhere different and see local attractions.

Must see places nearby are Lindos & Haraki.

Room Tip: The seaview rooms benefit from sunshine until midday and do not get the sunset. Obviously the oppos...

Not having visited Rhodes for over 10 years we booked this hotel from the reviews on TA and as usual the TA reviews were spot on.
The Hotel was very clean and well maintained and the facilities were very good.
The breakfast. Lunch and evening meals we extensive to say the least, there was something for everybody what ever your taste.
The staff were friendly and efficent.
Now..... Some of the entertainment was boardering on terrible, one evening there was a guy playing a guitar with some backing music... the music was`nt bad but when he started to sing the area became deserted, I think he may of had something to do with the Hotel as his son was running around most of the time and was odviously know by the staff... Then there was the bingo and karaoky... And then YOUTUBE on the big projector screen playing funny and not so funny video clips (as you`ve been framed)... Saying all that the other entertainment was very good... Greek night and the Grease act were well presented and at the end of the day you didnt have to sit through the entertainment you could always escape to another part of the Hotel.
WIFI was free if you wanted to sit in a crowded area by the reception or you could pay alot extra and have WIFI through-out the Hotel..
Overall the holiday was a great and we were very lucky with the weather.

Room Tip: Book a sea view room above the first floor.

First time in Rhodes so used Trip Advisor and other sites to check hotels. The Sentido Lindos Bay was everything that it was reported to be. A good quality hotel with comfortable rooms and facilities. Food quality was good and service very good. The pool adjacent to the beach ensured everyones preference was catered for. Animation was low key but good quality. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily return.

Room Tip: Most rooms offer sea views - definitely request an upper floor room with sea view.
