We stayed at Lindos gardens hotel for 11 days in September 2006. We were supposed to stay in Lindos garden in Pefkos, but at the last minute they decided to close early and we were transferred to this hotel. We were a bit anxious but now very happy it happened. Our room was nice with a balcony giving view on Lindos acropolis, the only small problems were a few ants which meant all food had to be kept in the fridge, the water was some days cold and the owner didn't like to deal with any problems and could be quite rude. The maid worked very hard and was very nice, everything was clean during the whole stay. The bar staff wanted you to have a good time. The setting of the hotel is absolutely superb, whichever pool you wish to go to, you will love it! The hotel is a close distance to Lindos (10-15 mins walk down steep hill) which means the hotel is quiet. Lindos has some very nice restaurants and the labyrinth of small streets is fabulous to discover. However the lovely beach is 20 min from the hotel and up hill all the way back. The acropolis is a great site and offers lovely views.
We rented a car for a few days (it was cheaper in town) and had the chance to discover the whole island, there are some great sites (Monolithos, Kameiros...). we also took the bus to Rhodes town and enjoyed an afternoon walking round the old town.
All in all a fantastic holiday thanks to a lovely hotel, nice people, great food and rich island!! Do go and experience it all!

Loved our stay here, we went over for a wedding. Lindos is great especially all the roof top restaurants.
The aparment was very clean and the staff was really friendly and helpful, can't fault it

We stayed here in mid October, a last minute bargain booked directly from FirstChoice website.
The infinity pool was a pleasant surprise as was our very clean apartment, with large cold fridge, was right by the little pool bar, that was run by Irana, a very pleasant member of staff from the Ukraine. No noise problems with late night noise here, as it closed early evening, but there was a much larger bar open 22 hours a day, down the hill in the main complex.
I suppose sun loungers, could be a problem but you only have to ask whether a lounger is actually being used, and we never found a problem getting ourselves one.
Nearby Lindos town is a joy at night, when most of the tourists have gone home, it caters for all tastes, including some good Greek food at Mythos (splendid view of the floodlit Acropolis at night) and Maria's.
Lots of bars and shopping oppurtunities.
If you want to visit the Acropolis, go early to avoid the crowds and heat, it opens at 8 a.m., and costs 6 euros to get in, and between 8-10 a.m. you virtually have the place to yourself.
For those more energetic souls, you can walk out to Kleobulos' tomb, very pleasant on a cooler day, fantastic views from this headland, and a lovely cold beer and a moussaka at the Oasis restaurant on the way back.
Go to Rhodes town for the day, great shopping, and the old town is a UNESCO world heritage site.
Always get a taxi back up the hill at night, only 4 euros.
The upper apartments are not really suitable for those with disabilities, as the approach is very steep, and the infinity pool could be quite dangerous for young children.
All in all a very worthwhile destination

We stayed from 3rd October - 17th October 2007, having previously stayed 8 years earlier. The complex had increased dramatically in size, but retained its original charm. We stayed in the original apartments which were fine, but were quite close to the reception (5a), so we experienced quite a bit of noise from late night / early morning revellers returning from a good night out ! So if you want a quiet room, try to specify on booking. Drinks in the bar slightly higher than in town, as to be expected. Service and staff very good and very friendly. Recommended restaurants in Lindos - Mythos, Caesars and Marias. Suggest you walk up the road to check out Caesars Apartments which only opened this year but looked lovely. They are owned by the family who run the restaurant in town.
