“Amazing place to recharge and enjoy family”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 30, 2013

I love this place right from the time we arrived bleary eyed staring into the wonderful tropical Atrium in the lobby.

This hotel has bling, 6 pools wonderfully styled tropical gardens and water features, pool bars, spa gym, restaurants and a beach.

The staff are brilliant and do a really good job, especially the 'animation team' that are great with kids.

Once you are tired of lounging there are nice tavernas near by and Lindos is a short taxi ride away for a bit of culture.

The food is great but gets a little repetitive and the all inclusive isn't worth it, unless you are here without kids and can take advantage of the bar :)

Room Tip: Ask for pool room views or a quiet room away from the bar on music nights :)

Well we just booked three days there - luckily. We like to do more individual vacation therefore we did not like the place. Booked just breakfast - and this was the best decision. The breakfast happening each morning was so busy and crowded that you start really stressed in the day. If you were lucky you even got some fruits from the buffett..

Rooms are OK, even though we experienced ants (even in the tresor) and a mouse crossing our balkony once. This is no joke!

Around the hotel the is nothing to do, beach is quite isolated and not worth a visit compared to the others close to Lindos down south.

What we higly can recommend is the Tavern 'Milos' next to the hotel in direction to the beach. This place served the best local food during our 10 day-trip across Rhodos.

Besides the fact that the island of Rhodes is quiet and ideal for relax, Atrium Palace is a nice hotel located in Kalathos, well kept and with a very professional service both at the retaurants and bars, reception and cleaning staff. The rooms are nice and clean, sometimes with ants, but they do not bother. The gardens and swimming pools are well kept and clean. The sea is simply wonderful and hot from 8am to 7pm. The beach is not so attractive (no sand) but it doesn't matter with such a beautiful sea. The food at the main restaurant is generally good but with not that much of variety. The only negative surprise is the poor working wi-fi, which should be a must for a 5-star. The clientele is international with Russians (don't be surprised if you see them putting the towels everywhere to reserve the seats or push you at the buffet to be the first in catching mussels, or leaving the buffets with their bags full of fruits) being the top ethnicity, followed by British, Germans, French and Italians. A special mention goes to the restaurant ASTERIAS, specialized in fresh fish which truly deserve 5 stars (all plates are simply delicious and service at the top). Rhodes is a place to relax and don't expect to see the Ibiza movida! Enjoy!

We have just returned from our amazing summer holidays in the Atrium Palace. We stayed at the hotel from June 30 till August 22. It is an excellent place for family holidays. The hotel is nice, comfort and has a lovely green territory. The beach is small and very clean. The sea is amazing, clean and warm! The room is not big but the hotel is very clean and has a good room service. The Spa center is nice, has a lot of treatment. The hotel is located not far from Lindos. Thanks to personnel of the hotel for their hospitality, kindness and politeness. Special thanks to Katerina - the hostess, our waiters - Gianiss, Timos and Kostas. The last waiter (Kostas) has a very good sense of humour. The animation team Kirsti and Tamara is excellent. Tamara has became a friend to our children. The management team is perfect. We are grateful to Savvas, the service manager, Apostolos, the manager, for their hospitality, kindness and readiness to help you. Savvas is an inspiring person. The way how he manages his staff, communicates with customers is amazing. My children like him very much and say "Hello" to him. Both Apostolos and Savvas are very responsible, friendly, genuine and high-experienced persons. I will recommend this hotel to all my friends and next summer we are going to stay here for a long time again.

Just got back from another great two week stay at the Atrium Palace Kalathos. Tamara and Kirsti from the Animation Team were fantastic keeping our five year old entertained. The Reception staff were great and it was nice to see familiar faces in the bar and restaurant staff. Great hotel, lovely location, food a bit repetitive come the second week.

We stayed here for two weeks in June as we had our wedding in Lindos!

When we arrived at midnight after a surprisingly quick transfer we were greeted with friendly reception staff who checked us in quickly and two porters who kindly carried our bags to our room. We stayed in room 218 which had a side sea room but a massive balcony, the size of two! We were also given a bottle of champagne and fruit as a welcome. Rooms are spotless and quite roomy with lots of wardrobe space. Tiny criticism would be the TV was quite dated but we saw them updating some of the rooms with flat screens and I suppose you don't come away to watch tv anyway!
We stayed half board and switched most of our dinner meals to lunch as we spent every evening in Lindos or Pefkos with our wedding guests. Food was great especially breakfast, lots of choice! Lunch and Dinner were standard buffet type food which was really nice but nothing compared to eating in Lindos!
Pool areas were gorgeous, well tended grounds and really easy to get a sunbed. There's a shop close by that we got our water etc from as it was cheaper than the hotel.
We didn't go to the beach as again we prefered the one in Lindos.
The hotel is a few km from Lindos, you can get a bus but we didn't bother. Taxi is quite pricey so we ended up renting a car from marathon who were based in reception. We haggled abit and got a reliable runaround for 25 euros a day and the third day was free! Worked out really well for us to visit our guests.
Staff were really friendly and couldn't do more for you. When they found out it was our wedding day they decorated our room and when we mentioned we bought some champagne they kindly bought up glasses for us even they we didn't buy it from them. They really make the hotel for us!
Overall we had an amazing stay here and it was a nice relaxing, luxurious break for us.
We highly recommend staying here but next time we want to stay closer to Lindos
