“Want a beautiful hotel experience??”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

This hotel is it!! We were there at the very end of the season, and sadly experienced a couple of evening thunderstorms, but as we were staying in the main hotel, we did not get wet! The temperature varied between 23 and 25 degrees on the sunny days, so we still got a tan!

The atriums in both sections of this hotel are lush to say the least. And the lovely gardens weave in and out between various swimming pools down to the individual villas which have their own plunge pools, on the way to the beach, which is on a wide bay of stone/shingle, but it shelves quickly into the deep water of the Adriatic, so is not really suitable for children. However is is a wonderful swimming experience, so long as you have beach shoes.

The restaurant staff are very good, notably Pari our waitress, (a lovely lady), who looked after us so well, and the service manager, Savvas Papanforiou made us feel so very welcome every night, and has his staff well in hand. Breakfast was an excellent experience, and we elected to eat from the buffet each evening, and very much enjoyed the selection, as we like to try local dishes. The desserts were far too good for my waistline!! (One just HAS to partake! It would be rude not to!! He he)

The main problem experienced in the dining room is a common and on-going one in many hotels with restaurants open to the outside world - feral cats! I am a cat lover, and own one myself, but by the end of the season there are many who sneak in, due in no small part to guests feeding them from the table. PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS!! It is unhealthy, and causes problems for staff, and for guests with allergies. The service manager (mentioned above) has tried his very best, and has reported it several times to the powers that be, yet nothing is done.

I found the entertainment provided to be very enjoyable, especially the 'Dream boats and petticoats' evening. Wonderful! All in all a lovely break, in a good quality hotel, albeit later than we ideally would have liked to go. We left Rhodes at 23 degrees, and arrived home to 0 degrees, so the advantage of going was obvious!!

Room Tip: We requested a sea view, and our room had a side view of the bay, and an excellent view of the mount...

This hotel really was great value for money. Apart from being great value, it was a beautiful hotel, beautiful grounds, superb pools and great bedrooms. The main reception area was very attractive along with the grounds inside the hotel! Staff in reception were very helpfull and the room was cleaned beautifully every day. The breakfast offered everything you might ever want with great selections of bread as well. The evening meal buffet was absolutely amazing and the waitresses couldn't do enough for you. Drinks in the hotel were a little expensive, but the bar across the road did exactly the same drinks for about half the price lol. The daily entertainment was also very good. Would highly recommend this hotel to anybody albeit a little out of the way and therefore nowhere really to have a good walk to. The beach is not very good though.

We have just got back from the Atrium Palace and would highly recommend it to anyone. The staff are outstanding, nothing too much trouble always happy to see and help you. The pools and grounds are spotlessly clean and well cared for. As we were there at the end of the season the hotel was relatively quiet but still had a warm feeling to it, would like to go back earlier in the year next time. The rooms were again spotlessly clean and very comfortable, maid service very discreet and efficient. The Spa was a real oasis for us as it did rain for a couple of our days, but the staff made us very welcome and we enjoyed our time there, again spotlessly clean and well cared for. The brochure photos do not do the Atrium Palace justice it is much nicer in the flesh.
If you manage to go yourselves ENJOY.

Room Tip: All the rooms are similar, the sea-view is not that great but nice and quiet facing away from the hu...

Atrium palace is our favorite hotel the last few years. Everything is super from the first till last second of our holidays there. Even end of the season staff is always giving you a gmorning smile.
Now I need to say 1 of the most important reasons that we r back in atrium. This is the staff that still working since first time we have been there , especially PANI the guy is absolutely super. Very professional at the pool bar and also very generous and helpful for all his customers. Congratulation to atrium for having such a nice staff.

My partner and I have just returned from a wonderful week at the atrium palace. We arrived at 9.15pm just as dinner was finishing, the receptionist took us straight into the dining room for dinner and said we could register when we had finished. We thought what a great start and things only got better. Our room was spacious and immaculate. Our jaccuzzi wasnt working,we phoned reception and within 5 mins a plumber had arrived and within half an hour it was up and working.Towels were changed twice a day and sheets and pillow-cases regulary.Bed covers turned down every night . We were on half board and there was a good choice of food.My partner is diabetic.but no problem .The swimming pools and the gardens were kept imacculate. The hotel is on its own with a couple of shops and taverna just outside .There is a bus stop 400yds from hotel ,that goes to Lindos and Rodos town.Receptionist will even give you bus timetable. The weather was glorious too.And last but not least all the staff were polite , kind and very curteous and we would like to say thank you to everyone who made it such a wonderful holiday.

Room Tip: We were in main building lower floor,no noise at all.

We have selected Rhodes for our beach vacation in the middle of October and it was the perfect choice! The weather was still wonderful at this time of the year and the sea very warm.
We stayed in Atrium Palace with our two children aged 4.5 years and 3 months in a family room. The room was very spacious with two bathrooms and a separate room for children.
The hotel itself is located at the Kalathos beach and seems to be the only hotel in the nearest area, which gives an aura of isolation and relaxation. Perhaps the beach is not so popular because it is not sandy, however the water is crystal blue and there no annoying vendors on the beach.
The hotel territory is very spacious with numerous swimming pools and a big playground with children. We also used the possibility giving up our daughter in the miniclub and she was happy.
I can really recommend this hotel for families with children above 4 (because of the beach) and for couples.
The food was average, so if you are flexible, would rather recommend to go out for dinner. Lindos is located 5 km away. There is also a nice restaurant located right at the entrance to the hotel.

Room Tip: There are two main buildings and villas. If you don't take villa, I'd rather recommend to ha...

Atrium palace resort and spa kalothas rhodes greece. great hotel well looked after by all the attentive staff..pool bars.dining areas and of course the domestic teams are all on hand. lots of cala meara (good mornings with a smile). The Jnr suite we were in worked well for us during our 7 day fully inclusive.Plenty of drinks and bundles of food all served up with a smile and a thank you. Oh I wish i could have drunk more ,but my drinking habits have tuned down a tad.The spa was a delight along with our 7 day pass giving us free entry to try out the pools.Resort a little in the country side although served by the bus at the end of the road or the tours organised by the reps. This resort has reps and information from at leasts 20 companys.Lindos is 10 minutes away. rhodes town about 45 minutes. From the booking to the journey home all was organised well. our private taxi there and back was waiting for us with no additional to pay.just a shame thompson flights were a tad cramped. This hotel was due to close at the end of october for the winter season.will open again in april. Nice gaff.well clean kool pools and a shingly beach 5 minutes walk away though the well kept grounds. Bring some wet style footware to go in the sea which was warm and crystel clear. what a delight with free sunbeds and parosals. Will I return. Oh yes.

Room Tip: shop around for best price
