“The perfect birthday holiday!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 22, 2013

My husband took me to Lindos Blu for my 30th Birthday. We arrived late, at 11.30pm and were greeted with a glass of sparkling wine before being shown to our room. We recieved a bottle of wine, a fruit bowl and cake which was lovely.
The view from this hotel over the bay is beautiful. It was so relaxing and peaceful. No kids which is brilliant!
The room was spacious and very clean. I really enjoyed the jacuzzi bath! Really liked the bathroom window (you can pull the blind down if you want more privacy). Bed and pillows were very comfortable.
Only problem with the room is no Iron. I've never stayed at a hotel before where you cannot have an iron (apparently its the 'law' in Greece). This was frustrating as we ended up having to pay for items to be pressed which the hotel do take advantage of and charge a lot of money for per item.
The wi-fi signal was very poor for us the entire week and we heard other guests say the same. It didnt matter to us, but if you needed it for work this would of been frustrating.
There are 2 pools outside, a larger one up the top and then a smaller one on a lower level. We used the smaller one as it was quieter and right near our room. It was totally relaxing sunbathing around this pool and looking out over the amazing view! The pool was really cold, would have been nice slightly heated as it was too cold to stay in but OK for a swim!
Slight smell of sewage every now and again.
There is a shop on the beach which sells 6 bottles of water for 2.20 Euros. You can then get ice to your room! Its a few minutes walk from the hotel. Next to the shop is a restuarant which we had a drink in every afternoon.
The beach isn't great and isn't kept very clean, there are piles of broekn sunbeds and umbrellas, but not on the area the hotel use. This didn't bother me as I much prefer a pool.
Breakfast and Dinner was delicious! I eat so much because all the food was lovely. If you go half board for breakfast is a large selection of hot and cold food buffett style. Dinner is then Soup, followed by a buffett course, followed by a choice out of 3 mains, followed by dessert from the buffett. Chocolate was the theme for dessert! You will not go hungry! Sitting outside to eat was perfect.
Staff were all friendly and the service was always excellent.
We walked to Lindos town which was about 20-25 minutes. We like walking, the problem was no pavements but we survived!
Overall, a really relaxing 5 days with gorgeous food and a perfect view.

This is our third holiday here in the past 12 months and our stay was as brilliant as the previous two visits. There is something very special about Lindos Blu that makes you want to return time and time again. The whole experience here is exceptional from the relaxing ambience, outstanding service from every staff member( special mentions for Katerina, Anastasia, Thomas, George) who make you feel very special. Once again we enjoyed half board and every meal was excellent. We opted for dinner a couple of evenings in Lindos and the hotel kindly swapped dinner for lunch.First job on arriving home will be to book next years holiday back at Lindos Blu but for 11nts as 7nts is just not long enough in this wonderful hotel.

We stayed here back in June 2010 and had a fantastic time. It is a couples hotel with a great atmosphere of peace and quiet. It has the most amazing views and very near the local town which had some great shops and restaurants highly recommended.

Our first visit to this hotel , but not our last. Great service , Great staff who consistantly went the extra mile and Fantastic rooms . The Breakfast buffet had loads of choice although the evening meal in the main dining area had limited choices of menu .The Gourmet restaraunt is worth visiting as the choice and quality of food is again high . A perfect environment for a relaxing holiday where service is a "given " . Not cheap , but good value for money

Room Tip: all rooms are excellent with great facilities , and views

Staying here for the first time following recommendation from friends. This is a very modern and contemporary hotel set over a number of levels on the side of a cliff. The facilities are excellent with very comfortable and spacious rooms - we stayed in a junior suite. The staff are very helpful and the breakfast buffet is extensive and of a high quality. All in all a very good hotel at an affordable price.

The Lindos Blu hotel was a great experience - great pool, great staff and unbelievable views!!

Whilst inside the village, we discovered Mythos Restaurant ( not one of the recommended restaurants at reception )!

The combination of Lindos Blue and Mythos Restaurant just made our vacation - try both - you'll love them also!

This is truly the best hotel I have been to. Not just because of its fabulous setting, style and cleanliness but for the staff that go all out to make you feel special.

We arrived to a drink in the bar with an amazing view over the beach. we then got a tour of the hotel then shown to our room where our bags had already been delivered.

The room was beautifully decorated with roses, sugared almonds and towels made into swans. They'd also left a chilled bottle of rosé and a plate of honey, nuts and fruit plus a fruit bowl.

There was also the well stocked mini bar and tea and coffee. No milk but that wasn't hard to obtain. The air con was very useful and worked really well, handy at night with the lovely thick duvets!

The whole place is spotless and the cleaners come in every day. Even they were friendly and smiley, and they delivered chocolates and clean towels every afternoon.

We had lots of lovely extra touches during the week, they really do make the stay special.

The food in both restaurants, the bar and for room service is superb. We learnt to generally order one meal between two though for lunch as the portions are large and generally come with a basket if bread, olives and dips!!

The buffet for lunch and dinner is superb quality, we came home feeling very fat!!! We also ate in Lindos several times for dinner. I can definitely recommend odyssia for dinner, they do a fabulous seafood pasta. For the most friendly staff the Olympia was also good and I had very nice goat in the kalypso restaurant.

Both pools were incredibly clean but we tended to use the smaller of the two as it was nearer our room. Minor complaint on one day we had to go to the other pool as there wasn't enough sun beds.

The beach was nice but we didn't really use it as we hired a car and discovered st Paul's bay just the other side of Lindos which is just beautiful and perfect for snorkelling. It was quite busy though.

If you hire a car a trip to rhodes town is definitely worth it and we also discovered a Gem of a restaurant called Pelecanos in Vati, it had scrumy food.

The bar lounge in the hotel was a lovely setting for an evening drink. There's some nice sofas outside looking over the sea and often you could listen to the music from the restaurant. The lady who served the drinks was very sweet and nothing was to much trouble. They made me several nice Long Island ice teas that weren't on the menu.

Slight word of warning avoid the shop for sun cream, we were charged €21.50 for a standard bottle!!

Overall we had a fabulous week and really didn't want to leave. We'll definitely be back!!
