We went for 12 days in the middle of June 2013 and also stayed at this hotel June 2012. People are too quick to complain and moan on sites like this but at the end of the day, you get what you pay for! We had no problems with it last year, hence why we returned this year. There are the downsides as there are with every hotel - the rooms are quite dated and the food can be repetitive if you go for longer than a week. A few sunbeds were broken and could do with getting new ones, but the hotel has recently had new ownership, and you have to appreciate Greece are in recession so money is tight. However, the staff are amazing. Yanis the barman and the dark-haired lady on reception who's name I can't remember are very friendly! They work extremely hard to try to give us all a good experience. Yanis remembers what drink you have after a couple of days and so its ready for you when you reach the front of the queue. The breakfast has toast, eggs, bacon, etc all you need really and the bbq at lunchtime is delicious. Dinner not so good so we ate out quite a bit but they do put roast dinners on and try different things. For the price you pay for all inclusive, you'd pay the same for self catering elsewhere, so it's nice because even though you go all inclusive you can still afford to eat out. I recommend Jason restaurant (out the hotel and left) lovely staff and lovely food. Also to the left there are different restaurant and bars, which is quite good to go up there after 11pm when all inclusive is over in hotel. Entertainments team tried their best with the resources they had, and done activities such as aqua aerobics, zumba, volleyball and darts daily. On the evenings they tried to get the audience involved as much as poss. Definitely recommend taking a trip to Lindos, beautiful place, but absolutely boiling hot! We went by boat so had 2 and half hours to spend there, this was long enough for us but if you go by bus you get 5 hours there. Also the waterpark is a great day out, good rides there and a good laugh. Lindos, waterpark, etc can all be booked through hotel reception. Last day is a bit of a nightmare if you don't fly until late (we flew at 23:30pm) but we just had a sunbed in the day, went to a few bars, then booked the courtesy room to shower in the evening. Next year I have heard it will be turned into a 5* hotel, so will be interesting to see what happens. Overall great holiday - nice staff, clean hotel, alcohol and sunshine. What more could you want.
People do say request 5th floor but to be honest, the only difference is a full-length mirror and a...
