“Nice to see something that old and in use”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 23, 2014

Nice to see something that old and still in use (as a pedestrian bridge). It is situated near the Alcazaba and both are worth seeking out.

“Walk along the bridge”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2014

This has got to be one of the longest oldest bridges i have walked along.it is well preserved and to think how old it is will make you feel very humble.Great views on both sides of the river Guadiana and also some good walks along the rivers edge.Glad to have done it not only once but 3 times!!

“superb experience”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2014

this is one of the most exciting examples of extant roman architecture. do not miss it because you are not likely to experience a solely pedestrian bridge of this calibre again.

“Beautiful walk, not only a well preserved ruin”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 30, 2014

The sunsets from the bridge are unbelievable. Start from the Alcazaba and walk through the bridge and down the riversides. The place offers many opportunities for nice pictures.
