During our visit to Jerez we went to this place to have lunch before going on a tour around the city at 4 p.m. We were in a hurry and we told so to the waiter, which made his best to have the food ready in no time.
The food we tried was just delicious: we had the very famous 'alcachofas', 'coquinas', and drank Tio Pepe wine. Everything was just gorgeous and we really enjoyed every bite. To give you an idea of the prices, each glass of Tio Pepe was 1.30 euros, 'media ración' of 'alcachofas' was 5.50 and the coquinas were 8 euros (a whole ración).
Everything was so tasty that we decided to go back with more time for dinner. Again, it was an unforgettable experience and the prices were not as high as we would have expected based on the quality and the good service you are offered. For dessert we tried their home-made tiramissu, and I can only say that it was one of the best tiramissus ever. If you like it, try it there! You won't be disappointed.
Even though there is seating inside (with nice tables, nice decor, and air-con in case you go in the summer time), it is very nice to seat outside (even though it is not that comfortable) and enjoy the food in a very typical narrow street in a white village in Cádiz. You can see the passers-by and enjoy the lively city at night.
