Spent 4 days here. There's no doubt about the welcome and the local knowledge - Monika and Lola know their stuff. And, unless you're fluent in Spanish, it's a real help to get the gen in your own language. We settled for an "inner" room (the courtyard is open but the aircon was very efficient anyway).

Found a cheap eaterie ourselves first night (to Monika's horror, but the swordfish a la plancha wasn't that bad!) - and said we'd be looking for better the next night (our wedding anniversary). We went by train to Sevilla next day and got back to be given a half-bottle of Cava in the room to celebrate. Had a starter at the fish restaurant Monika recommended (La Marea) but too many people were smoking outside and we moved to Bar Juanito. Lola's choice the next evening was La Cruz Blanca, where you had to queue for a table, and it was easy to see why (we went back the next night).

Lots of good reasons to go - in fact the only reason to lower a mark would be on value for money, when (at the time we were there) even a double room in a 4-star hotel at normally 245 Euro a night could be had for 55! Still, we were very glad to have gone with the flow on here.

“Very nice and excellent service”

Found this wonderful site a couple of days ago when searching for somewhere to stay with my family in Jerez.

Saw the reviews of this hotel and booked by calling Monika directly - quick and easy.

[--]

Nice and clean. We got room 11 which is a Junior Suite, perfect for 2 adults and two kids (5 and 7 yrs) for 118 Euro. Got help with booking Flamenco and Horse show, excellent service. Even got help with parking the car! Breakfast is good and we got a real tasty tapas plate served on the terrace on the roof. Location is also very good, easy to find if coming by car, close to main shopping street (5 mins walk) and old town.

To summarize: Very nice and highly recommended, will go here again if I ever go to Jerez again!

Booked this hotel on the back of previous reviews and it did not disappoint.

Monika and Lola are teriffic hosts and the hotel is just immaculate. Classical style with lots of personal touches.

Stayed there on 2 occasions during our holiday in Spain. Our favourite of the 2 rooms was the front bedrom facing the main square - Wonderfully light and airy will great views although all look well appointed and great value for money. .

Breakfast is super - a hot option is provided plus cereal, fruit, ham, cheese etc with lots of variation during longer stays.

Left my reading glasses at the previous hotel and Monika went out of her way to ensure safe delivery once home in the UK.

Highly recommended.

We stayed here for the first 2 nights of our 2 week Andalucian tour and Monica's friendly and helpful approach to her guests was head and shoulders above anything else we experienced. She really will go out of her way to do anything to help you. And her staff are equally wonderful. This is a small, friendly hotel with a personal touch that you won't easily find anywhere else in the world.
We had two rooms on the first floor - nice and spacious with gorgeous bathrooms. Monica has done an amazing job to combine original period features of the property with modern luxury.
The breakfasts were excellent - if it's not there one of the staff will find it! Don't think your children won't be comfortable here - ours were provided with pots of hot chocolate and enormous bowls of strawberries! When we needed to wash a couple of items through covered in guess what - hot chocolate! Monica personally oversaw that they were dried quickly in her dryer.
If you like absolute quiet you might be better at the back of the hotel - we did find the road quite noisy.
Stay here - you won't be disappointed.
