“Would not stay here again.”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed April 16, 2013

We stayed in this hotel for a few days at the beginning of April. During the first night the room became very hot as the air conditioning was not working. I was told that they do not turn it on outside high season. For the same reason the rastaurant was closed for dinner and the swimming pool was not in use. There is no wi-fi in any of the rooms. To use it you need to go to the reception area in the other building. The hotel is on the other side of town from the train and bus station, which makes a long walk if you want to travel outside Jerez. This hotel calls itself 5 star hotel. I would rate it 3 stars at best. Although the room was clean, overall I was very disappointed with this hotel.

This was a fantastic 5 star hotel ideally situated within easy walking distance of the Royal Equestrian Centre, the Sandeman Port & Sherry Brewery and the centre of Jerez. It is built in large grounds and has its own parking facilities. The hotel is very clean and well decorated for such a big place.Well worth a vist.

the hotel is located in a former bodega, with a small garden and in summer swimmingpool.
the rooms are big with shower and bath, minibar and with space for extra bed to the kid without any problems. breakfast is good (especially when comparing to other spanish hotels) and the hotel employees nice and good advisors.
really a place to stay when in jerez, location perfect, walking distance to everything!

Room Tip: chose a room on ground floor for small terrace or 1/2 floor for french balcony

3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 18, 2013

I stayed here for three nights in February during a sherry tasting tour of Andalucia. On the outside of the building, there used to be five stars but one had been removed; maybe they lost the fifth star rating because they had never developed the outdoor terrace bar & deck (a rumor) which would have been a lovely spot during warm weather. My room faced onto the interior patio and was large and very comfy; one of the very few times I've had a hotel room with TWO comfortable armchairs. There was a good assortment of bathroom amenities and even almost enough hangers (Quite often there isn't.) There was even a wash cloth/face flannel which most European hotels don't seem to provide.

The major drawback was the breakfast. There was a fairly plentiful selection onthe first day but it seemed to get scantier each day; the first morning's baguette type bread never been seen again. When I questioned this, I was told that it was the time of year when there were fewer clients so they put out less food. Understandable as a money-saving and non-food-wasting measure on the part of the hotel, but not for the guest. (There were 14 in our group and only a few tables besides ours were occupied.)

The service in the hotel was very helpful (especially Geraldine at reception) and cheerful except for the rather dour lady at breakfast.

As mentioned by other guests, there is a short walk into the center of the town where there are many places to eat (which I took advantage of on the day I arrived as the rest of the group didn't arrive until later and the hotel's offerings at mid-day didn't appeal.) as well as many historic buildings It's also only a few blocks' walk from the Real Escuela Andaluza del Arte Equestre

We attended a family wedding and had stayed overnight. The rooms are clan albeit you can see that they have not spent much in recent times, albeit spacious and well equipped, for 69€ for a luxury room for two with breakfast is a great offer. The only issue with the room was the I was far too warm.

The gardens and banqueting facilities were outstanding, the main hall is al old wine Bodega elegantly converted. The canapés and main meal was outstanding.

Reception and waitressing staff were very attentive and always happy to help.

The hotel s very close to the city centre so, enjoying a short walk back after enjoying the culinary and home grown sherries is not much of a struggle.

I will return....

Room Tip: Don't choose 1st floor as these rooms are on the ground floor, on the basis the rooms are very w...

Beautiful setting. The hotel was beyond peaceful - it was erie. Hopefully the time of year. Fantastic hotel but looking a bit rough at the edges - has the maintenance budget been cut because of the economic climate>

Was lodged there a month ago. Fantastic place to go for quiet holidays.

Food was high quality and hotel facilities just ideal for removing stress.

5 minutes walk from City Center, nice and friendly staff.

Will be there next time I must go to Jerez

Room Tip: Suites must have a stunning view of Jerez (Penthouse)
