“very nice B&B”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 26, 2013

This B&B owned by an architect is a very good spot to visit the east of Sicily, esp. the surroundings of Catania. In one hour max you are in Syracusa, Noto, the Etna, beaches etc. This, because it is located near the highway, so easily accessable, but at the same time the only disadvantage of the B&B: despite the nice garden and furniture spending some time in it or on the terrace, is not big fun because of the noise. Luckily the noise stays outside and does not hinder sleeping. The owner is a perfect host, the room was large and clean (the bed somewhat hard, but this is what I prefer), breakfast nice and tasty, car easily to park, so... I can really recommend considering staying here!

I stayed there for 3 nights in august and it was absolutely wonderful. The room was very big and very well decorated and we had a huge terrace to ourselves. The breakfast was incredible: a lot of homemade stuff, bread, cakes, granite di mandorle. Sebastiano was very kind and helpful. For me, ideally located since i wanted a place from where to go to Etna, Catania, Taormina... If you are looking for the same, definitely stay there :-)

Room Tip: MI room was great but it is true that it was enxt to breakfast room, so if you have a light sleep yo...

This place is excellent: Located near the airport and not far from the city center. A large house furnished by the owners who are interior designers and very hospitable nice people. We felt at home and were spoilt with an exquisite breakfast. Home -made bread and Sicilian specalties. Our room was perfect as well-.

Great start to the holiday. Very welcoming host-from emails before the start of the holiday to the end of our stay(waving us off!) We arrived after 11pm and still met the family and sat down to a nice homemade dinner with home-grown wine. Full of helpful advice about the area and local eateries only a phone call away. Room was clean with a huge terrace and amazing view over Catania. Breakfast was lovely with homemade bread, cakes and marmalade; and squeeze your own OJ. Would definitely come back-maybe in the summer so we can spend time in the great looking garden. The only problem with this b&b is finding it-though eventually we did find it in the dark with no sat nav(friendly locals only too keen to help!). Easy drive from here to Mt Etna or the city. Ideal.

The B&B Aloisio is truly unique because it's owners try to do everything to please their guests. Individual attention, such as what kind of yogurt I wanted for breakfast, is just so special.
The rooms are spotless and clean, even the sheets and pillowcases are ironed to perfection. Hot water showers, in the ultra-modern bathrooms, are a pleasure with strong water pressure. Air-conditioning and free WiFi internet access are part of the B&B Aloisio amenities.

Located in San Gregorio, the B&B Aloisio is centrally positioned for easy access to the historic center of Catania, Mount Etna and the Autostrada.

Truly, I had a delightful stay there and will recommend the B&B Aloisio to all my friends.

Room Tip: They are all beautiful and clean.

My stay at this B&B was perfect in every way. The service, cleanliness, and attention to detail made the experience excellent. Breakfasts were very Sicilian and most tasty. The assistance of the owners for exploring the area was most helpful. The location and ease of using the B&B was beneficial for our stay. I would and have highly recommended for friends who were in the area.

Room Tip: All rooms that I observed seems equal. They were large, good balthroom, terraces, quiet and spotles...
