Location, Location, Location. Do not consider this hotel if you are in Italy to visit Rome. It most definitely is not near Rome; in fact it was almost a two hour drive over country roads and heavy traffic to get to St. Peter's Square. Hotel is in the COUNTRY, there is nothing near it of interest to a tourist. Room was clean and basic. Towels were inadequate for two people in a room. On site dining room had limited, tasteless menu. Staff was barely friendly. Public area on first floor is small, carpet is dirty and smells, furniture is old. Would not repeat or recommend this hotel experience.
