We caught the train from Rome to the bus terminal at EUR Termi (Line B), we then took the free Zoo Marine bus from the bus terminal opposite the Termi Metro (which is located down the steps next to McDonalds store). The bus termianl can be a bit difficult to find without knowing exactly where to go, McDonalds is easy to spot and you follow the steps down along the right hand side of the store. The bus was full and leaves promptly. The bus ride took about 35 minutes, we then purchased entry tickets upon arrival. The bus arrives for the free return trip to Termi Metro at the park closing time, which in our case was 6:00pm. When first exiting the bus on arrival you are provided with an arm band which ensures you a seat on the return trip. The park was much larger than expected and easy to fill a full day there. It has rides, swimming pools & water slides, bird & dolphin shows and plenty of food and souveniers shops. All in all a great day, a nice way to break up the monumental Roman sightseeing.
