“Great value for the money!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 14, 2010

Spent 4 nights here visiting Paris. Hotel was clean, staff were courteous and proximity to station was great. Breakfast was basic but good and we had an evening meal in the resaurant which was better than we had expected. Our daughter was sick during one of the days we were there and unfortunately threw up over the beds and floor. The staff were very understanding and got us a new room and helped us to move into it. That was the night we ate in the restaurant and the waiter when he heard our daughter was unwell and couldn't eat, brought her a cup of tea instead, without being asked to. Underground parking is great but beware if you have a roofbox as the height is 2m on the door. Could not fault this hotel at all and would stay here again.

We stayed two nights at the Tulip Inn in Marne-La-Vallee, Bussy Saint Georges, with a family of two adults, a 3-yr old and a baby. We stayed at this hotel becasue we were visiting EuroDisney rather spontaneously. We had not made any bookings in advance. EuroDisney hotels were overpriced in our view. We paid EUR219 for two nights including parking.
There is a private and secure car park underneath the hotel. The ladies at reception were factual and responsive, although not all requests in English were properly understood.
The room was spacious enough for us. A water cooker (kettle) is not standard inventory, but was available from reception. Toilet is separate from the bathroom with bath and shower. A/C can be regulated in terms of temperature and blower strength.
The signs in the elevator explaining that it is forbidden to bring food into the rooms came across as unnecessarily patronizing to me.
The main disappointment was the quality of the beds. Extremely hard which kept me tossing and turning all night.
The main plus is the proximity to the RER station (less than 5 minute walk). Only two stops to EuroDisney. Tickets for EuroDisney can be bought at reception, although there was a better deal if the EuroDisney tickets were bought at the RER station, together with the RER tickets.
As sleep quality is the main quality dimension for me for a hotel, I will not choose to stay here again/

We stayed for 1 night at the Tulip Inn in June 2010. The hotel is located a few minutes walk from the Bussy St Georges Station, which is 2 stops before Marne la Vallee (Disneyland). We travelled to Paris on the Eurostar, from Gare du Nord we took metro line 4 to Chatelet Les Halles, changed to the RER A line in the direction of Marne la Vallee.
Our room consisted of a double bed and single bed. The room was clean, quite basic included air conditioning, flat screen TV (French channels), but no safe in room.
We had a comfortable night sleep as the area was quiet and the beds were ok, the pillows though were rather flat. But we were extremely tried after the day at Disneyland we could have slept on the floor!
The breakfast was reasonable, there was a selection of cereals, breads, pasteries, ham, cheese etc.
The hotel is in an ideal location for Disneyland as mentioned the station is only a few minutes away and the trains come regularly, the longest we waited was 10 minutes.
As mentioned by previous reviewers the bakery near the station is good and worth buying a few things as the food inside Disneyland isn't great and is expensive.
Disneyland was extremely busy whilst we were there, make sure that you use the fast pass option and if you have young children ask the staff about baby swap, this saves time.
If we visit Disneyland Paris again I would be more than happy to stay at the Tulip Inn. I wouldn't use this hotel for visiting central Paris though.

Our family stayed here for 2 nights, location is great, only 2 train stops from disneyland, brekkie was included in our room price & was really quite nice, foldout bed wasn't so great, room was a good size though & so cheap.

Liked the look of this hotel from the photos but found it to be a bit tired in reality. We had to change our first room as it smelled of mouldy bathrooms. The second one was better but not great. The hotel is in a great location for Paris or Disneyland - just across from the train station. Because it faces onto a paved open area (sort of a piazza) there were quite a lot of teenagers congregating outside the hotel, which some might find a bit intimidating. The secure parking was good, as was the service but we preferred the Golf Hotel, which is very close by and, imho, a nicer hotel.

We stayed at the Tulip Inn to visit Disneyland between Xmas and New Year. It's good to get away to a scmaltz free zone and this was a peaceful little haven after the craziness that is the Magic Kingdom. The hotel is 2 stops on the RER train from the Disneyland stop (Marne la Vallee) - less than 10 minutes ride - and it's 5 minutes walk from the hotel to the Bussy St Georges station. The Tulip is French 4 star - like a better version of an Ibis. Our room had 3 beds, a large flat screen tv (with only French channels - not even CNN or any other European channels!), a bath and shower. The bed was hard but the duvet was lovely and big and we could adjust the temperature to keep the room warm, which we really appreciated as it was FREEZING whilst we were there. As is usual in France there's no kettle, which we missed after four days. We had breakfast in our package and it was good. - help yourself to as much fresh bread, decent coffee and the usual continental selection of ham, cheese, cereal and yogurt. A nice touch was the egg boiler (though we don't eat eggs). The hotel staff were all friendly and professional and the hotel homely and clean. We'd stay again happily. Bussy St Georges is a fairly bland Paris suburb, but has everything you need - several restaurants nearby, including pizza, Japanese, kebabs, and several Chinese restaurants We tried the Chinese right opposite the hotel, which does a buffet that was very popular with locals. As we're vegan we opted for the a la carte and they made us special dishes, which were perfectly fine (once we managed to communicate that we don't eat prawns!) There's a large Carrefour supermarket near the station that's well stocked, also a health food shop and about a million pharmacies - honestly, one on every corner. Our package cost 118 Euros per night, but it was just after Xmas and we think there would be better deals off season.

Like lots of others before us (there were lots of discarded tickets and glum looking passengers) we messed up buying RER tickets, because the ticket machine is really confusing. You need to pick 'Paris region valid from this station' option on the screen (using the roll bar - it makes sense when you are there) and then it displays the alphabet and you pick M and then 'Marne la Vallee' for Disneyland. DON'T pick the 'single tickets' option (this is valid for metro and buses in Paris but not RER).

This hotel is in a good location, though not as convenient as a Disney hotel you can get to the park in about 15 minutes by walking to RER station and taking a 5 minute train. We enjoyed our stay, the staff were very helpful, the rooms were reasonably sized and clean however:
- The windows on the 4th floor do not have a catch to prevent them from opening fully. With one of children's beds beds placed against the window they could easily have opened the window and tumbled out. Similarly the doors do not have a chain to prevent the little ones escaping.
- The breakfasts are quite disappointing. There is limited range of cereals (two of), one type of cheese and ham, and no fresh fruit. For €9 I would expect better.
