“Enjoy the difference!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2013

Quirky, great fun, great value and refreshing to stay somewhere unconventional. Jean Bernard was a delightful and helpful proprietor and endeavoured to make our stay very comfortable. The room or should I stay suite, was very large and full of interest. The hotel is located 5 minutes from bars and some very good restaurants and 10 minutes from the huge Le Touquet beach. Breakfast (served in the bedroom) was beautifully presented and substantial.

I can't really add to what everyone else had said about this place. It really is great fun! What is also good is that it's clean, comfortable and warm. We stayed in the Marrakesh Suite in early December in bitterly cold weather but were still very comfortable. Yes, the shower attachment is a bit annoying but you just forgive it because it's all part of the charm. And the breakfast - fabulous! Don't hesitate, just book and enjoy it.

Room Tip: We looked at all 5 rooms and they all have their own querky charm. The room price is probably the b...

Dear guests!
Thank you so much for your kind rewiew.
It is for my wife and me the best Christmas present we can receive!
The year was very hard for the business in France and we work very hard to satisfy our guests.
People are often not very easy with us.!!!

We stayed for two nights at the Itsara in Le Touquet. The hotel is just a short walk from the main shopping area and restaurants. All the rooms are themed and we stayed in Marrakesh. Our room was exceptionally spacious, with the bedroom, bathroom and dressing area. The bed was very comfortable with lovely clean bedding and nice pillows. The Marrakesh room also has a small garden which would be a lovely space to sit for cocktails or eat outside in the summer. The room also has a flat screen TV and DVD player. Breakfast was amazing. Brought to your room it consists of French bread, Croissants, Crepes,Cheese, Ham, fresh juice and fruit - we had Kiwi and Pineapple and coffee or tea. The breakfast was so big we didn't need lunch. .

Jean Bernard is a real character and is full of interesting stories. We would definitely book here again - maybe in the summer but since there are only 5 rooms we will have to book early. I looked at all the other bedrooms with our host and I would be more than happy to stay in any one of them next time. Marrakesh would still be my favourite however because it is on the ground floor and you get the advantage of the garden.

Room Tip: All the rooms are nice - Marrakesh and New York are on the ground floor.

We were the victims of an attempted burglary at this hotel. The whole situation was handled appallingly from Jean Bernard to the French Police! There is lots to be questioned to be asked about this hotel and whilst it appears to be of top notch standard, sadly the hotel security is the complete opposite and if you do not feel safe, then no 'Art Deco' is worth the cost of putting your life in danger!

Thank you to use Tripadvisor to explain the problem.
You arrive during the night of 14th August (the biggest french bankholiday).
Someone forgot to close the main door.
At 2AM when the bars closed:
2 yougs tennagers (boozers) came into the house and knoked to the doors.
That's all the problem.
I think it is not a reason to call the police and to wake up everybody..
I came and I closed the door .
Le Touquet is a small safe town and I never see yet the gangs like in New York and L.A.killing the people!!
Thank you so much for your confidence.
I am in my hotel from the morning till the night( 7 days a week).
I cannot sleep in front of the rooms of all my guests)
Sincerely Yours.

We stayed as an extended group of family and could not have been more delighted.

The reservation process via Jean-Bernard was very easy and efficient (we arrived late so he rang us en route to tell us where he had left the key for us!); we tried to book another room once we'd made our initial booking and even though he was not able to accommodate our request, nothing was too much trouble.

He is a highly entertaining man and we were all absolutely delighted with him!

As others have said, the breakfast (although massive) is wonderful and we had booked four rooms, all of which were like a little trip into fairyland they were so wonderful!

The cost was about 20 euro more per room than the other 4* hotels in Le Touquet so for us, this was a good decision and well worth every cent!

Try it - you will not be disappointed! The beds are wonderful, the decor absolutely unique, the bathrooms absolutely great and the location is perfect.

Nothing to complain about other than we had to leave. Oh and it was raining all day when we attended the market (15 mins walk away). LOL!

Room Tip: All of them were wonderful!

Itsara suites is exquisitely designed, spacious, fantastically located in the heart of Le Touquet and it's proprietor, Jean Bernard, provides a great personal service, going the extra mile, including providing a complimentart lift to the airport. The breakfast is not to be missed with great variety and taste.

Room Tip: We were lucky to see all rooms and found all individual and uniquely designed. We enjoyed the Bangk...

Jean Bernard is fantastic such a friendly welcome, ignore anything negative people may have said I can't believe he could ever be rude without very good reason! We stayed one night in the Hong King room and one night in the Singapore! Both rooms are incredible, in fact we snuck a peak into each room and they are all great! Want to try them all. This place is in the best location and the breakfast is amazing. It keeps you filled all day so great value too.
I wouldn't even consider staying anywhere else now that I have found this place! Hopefully we can always detour past here on our France trips even if it's just for a night.
Thanks for a great stay
