“Great for kids”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 21, 2014

A great hotel. We had a family room - bunk beds and twin beds and a cot. Good kitchen area / outdoor terrace. Separate toilet and bathroom. Very clean, friendly staff and an easy walk into Le Touquet. Well signposted so easy to find.Good value for money and we will stay again, Only downside was parking was a problem as it was really really busy at the near by stables / race track.

Recently stayed at the Hippotel in Le Touquet.
First time in Le Touquet, what a beautiful place really idyllic.
Just a shame about the hotel!
The rooms were just not clean, or looked like they had been cleaned properly for a while. If you are about 4ft tall you would fit in the bath! the shower, which struggled to work, and the taps have seen better days, I am sure at one stage they were chrome! The extractor fan in the toilet and bathroom was covered in dust! My daughter sat on the bed and the legs gave way!
The first morning we reserved a table for breakfast, if breakfast is the right word for the small amount on offer and to add insult to injury we were told that we couldn’t play on the pool table in the lounge area after 9.50pm!
Would have loved to have moved rooms, but speaking with another guest they had the same issues and the hotel was supposedly fully booked!
If the hotel management want pictures of these issues, I am more than happy to forward

Fantastic value. Beautiful setting. Very quiet. Spotlessly clean. Highly recommend. Le Touquet is a lovely town with lots of places to eat & drink. Lovely shops and the beach is huge with clean white sand.

We picked this hotel on price as everywhere else local was very expensive. When we drove up there were a couple of coaches and were a bit worried when we realised that they were full of school kids. Although we didn't hear peep so the walls are well insulated.
Check in was quick, the room is basic but quirky. The double bed and living area was tasteful and looked like it came from an ikea catalogue. The bunk beds were functional and fun for kids although ours was used by a pensioner! We asked for was received a cot which was also clean and comfy. My dad (the pensioner) thought the quilts were a little damp but I think he was being a bit picky!
We didn't eat or drink at the hotel as everywhere was packed full of kids. I think it would be too far to walk into town from here but we had no problem finding parking at the beach.
The beach and town were lovely, we had a great evening window shopping and eating gelato. There is loads for kids to do at the beach too. My toddler loved the car ride.
We would go back to this hotel again as it was good for the price.

Good place to stay for a family/group looking for a beach/activity holiday that's not going to cost a fortune - very nice location (next to the equestrian centre) within very walkable distance from the town centre. We only (2 of us) needed one night's accommodation in Le Touquet and found the Hippotel to be completely adequate - the room we had could sleep 4 (x2 twin beds in the main room + x2 bunk beds in a recess) and had kitchen facilities and a balcony, overlooking the wooded park area at the back. Furnishings are very simple and functional; beds very comfy; bathroom facilities a bit on the small side (bathtub set up in a recessed area of the bathroom and quite awkward to get in). Superb customer service. Would definitely consider staying at the Hippotel again on another visit.

Small hotel 15 min walk to town centre. Clean rooms with kitchen facilities ( extra cost) ample bfast, next door to stables and racecourse. Although a little off the beaten track it was a great find . My style is more Marriot but we were there for a hen weekend so on a strict budget. Favoured by school trips.

We often come to Le Touquet for a day trip, mainly for the wonderful restaurants. This time we decided to stay for the night, and I chose this hotel as it was very reasonably priced for the night we wanted to stay.
It was a wise choice. It was in a peaceful location in the forest right next to the equestrian centre. We arrived early and our room wasn't ready, which was fine as we expected this. We were able to leave our car in the car park and we took a leisurely stroll to the centre for lunch which took about 15 minutes.
We booked a family room for 3 which was perfectly fine. It was clean and spacious and suited our needs for the night very well. Room consisted of a toilet and separate shower room. A separate section housed a bunk bed and the main room consisted of a double bed with a table and kitchenette, which also included a fridge. A flat screen TV on the wall and a balcony too.
We opted to pay 9.90 euros each for breakfast as we wanted to leave early to make our way to Bruges for the day. Breakfast was buffet continental style and included the following: eggs with a machine to boil your own, pancakes, French crusty bread, brioche, ham, cheese, yoghurt, fresh fruit, fruit juices, cereals, croissants and pan au chocolat, jams, a selection of fine teas, coffee and hot chocolate.
All in all a perfectly fine and comfortable stay in beautiful surroundings, friendly staff too. If you're not expecting to stay in the lap of luxury you'll have a pleasant stay, I'm sure.
