“Good value accommodation”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2012

I wanted a base for a short break in Le Touquet and this small studio was just right. It's very compact, with a double sofa bed in the living / dining room and a bunk bed in the corridor outside the tiny bathroom. However, for the size, it has everything you need, except an oven (there's a full-size dishwater!). Bring your own detergent and brush, but bed linen, towels, tea towel and brooms are provided.
You're left to your own devices during the day so can return to eat or rest or if the weather's inclement. The beach is about half a mile through the town. There's several nice restaurants around. The lighthouse is right behind the property.

The accommodation was compact with a well-equipped kitchen area and a decent sofa bed. Bunk beds for the children. Within walking distance of the centre of Le Touquet and the beach which was a big plus. Great boulangerie/patisserie and small supermarket very close to the apartment block for basic supplies. Le Touquet is a lovely town built on a grid system with beautiful individually designed houses. There is a great covered market on Saturday mornings that is well worth a visit. The British WWI cemetary at Etaples is the biggest in France and also worth a visit. We would definitely come back to the resort for a long weekend.

Room Tip: Ground floor rooms are popular with dog owners.

Booked two nights here after a week long stay further south. Le Touquet is good fun for a couple of days and we had been in a remote house for a week so it was good to be somewhere with a buzz. The apartment was basic with two bunk beds which the kids loved and then a fold out sofa bed. This was a bit of a worry as it looked a bit small. We put the matress on the floor and it was fine. Bathroom was tiny. Kitchen really well equiped with a dishwasher and fridge. Television with satelite channels. Overall a bit small but good fun for a couple of nights. Five minutes from the shops and restaurants.

Basic accommodation but well equiped. Recommend asking for a south facing room when you book, if you like the sunshine. We were allocated a north facing and although I asked to swop immediately but was told, that because I hadn't requested it on booking, it wasn't possible. The accommodation was not full so it would not have been any skin off their nose to do it.
Recommend that you do not pay to park in their car park (39 euros). We did, but noticed that there was always plenty of spaces in the road outside and it is in an area where you don't have to pay even though it was "high season".
If you can take your own towels, because they charge extra for them and, if you need TV on holiday, you have to pay for that too.
Quiet area with only a short walk to the town and beach. Good for cycling.

Clean apartment, but extremely basic. A home from home - you get to make your own bed! (sofabed I mean).

Note you cannot check in until 5pm.

Everything is extra, TV, cleaning. Also had to leave a 200 Euro deposit.

Nice quiet location with parking (free out of season). The staff are friendly, but the office isn't open much, only a few hours a day. There is one small lift which I should imagine is difficult in the height of the season, especially with pushchairs etc.

Overall, good, clean accommodation for a couple, but I would hate to have kids there as the apartment was so small.
