Perfect hotel to leave your car there for two weeks, free shuttle-service to the airport (and free taxi when there is no shuttle-service), mini-breakfast when you have a night-flight, friendly staff, excellent, clean rooms!

We chose the NH because of the proximity to the airport to catch a 9:00 flight. It couldn't have been a better location. Literally steps from the Diegem train station, and a 5 minute shuttle to the airport in the morning. Very spacious room with quiet A/C. It's a remote location, which resulted in a very quiet evening and good sleep. Front desk staff very friendly.

We arrived Friday early evening as a large coach party to go to Andre Rieu concert on Saturday evening in Maastricht. Checking in was fine and room was very good. After a long day travelling we went downstairs to Brasserie/bar for a drink, the young lady behind bar was very helpful and obliging and we enjoyed a good evening with several of our coach travellers. Unfortunately a bar manager appeared on the scene and sent the young lady elsewhere, we were obviously enjoying ourselves too much (we are both in our late sixties as were most of our fellow passengers) and he "took over" - a person who obviously wasn't happy in his job and couldn't cope with more than 4 customers at a time. Time was called at approx. 10.40 p.m. which was very disappointing for a Friday night in an hotel that we were all residents. We asked for our bill to find he had put another customers beer on, which he immediately remembered and took it off, then we realised he had also charged us for a beer we hadn't had, which after some discussion he took it off the bill. Staff satisfaction with this gentleman not good. We then went to our room, where we had left (our water, can of pop and sandwiches made at home and not eaten) in the bar refrigerator to find we couldn't open it - rang reception and were told that we hadn't paid the guarantee (which we were not informed of) and they wouldn't open it unless we paid the 50 euro, we explained we only wanted to retrieve what was ours out the bar (which had a space-for our own personal use) but told it didn't matter we needed to pay the 50 euro. We didn't pay it and thought the next morning they would release the lock, unfortunately this was not to be, until my husband got quite cross stating once again that we wanted to retrieve our own items from the bar fridge - they then -with out saying anything to my husband-released the lock and we were able to have our items. We then discovered that when you first go to your room the bar fridge should be locked only to be released after paying 50 euro - this we were not warned about. The whole coach were caught in this way and many had put medication in and not being able to retrieve same. Eventually after our coach manager spoke lengthily to reception and manager was she told about this ruling, which had caused a lot of distress to just one coach full of customers, there were 3 other coaches from UK staying and we understand they had the same problem - surely this is something that should be advised of when booking in and/or the coach manager advised so that it could be passed onto fellow passengers. The breakfast was good except on the Sunday morning by 9.00 am they had run out of bread for toast - a basic, also English tea bags!! By now there was another coach in ready to go to the Sunday evening concert. A lot of our fellow passengers paid 28 euro each for a supposedly 3 course evening meal to include 2 drinks - the meal apparently was awful (and not 3 courses by any stretch of the imagination) resulting in a lot of people complaining bitterly to the reception staff and asking to see the manager, who refused to come out and discuss this with them!! Would we recommend this hotel again - NO! The hotel itself was very good, modern and clean the bar staff and waiters/waitresses were very pleasant and helpful but management needs to take a course in hotel management and customer care. This hotel has a captive audience as there really isn't anywhere else to go and to treat people in such a "couldn't care less" attitude is appalling.

My husband and I booked a room at the hotel for one night before our flight early the next morning. The reason I chose this hotel is because of how close it is to the station. It is literally across the street from Diegem station and this helped us a lot throughout the trip. We were visiting Belgium for a music festival and had a lot of bags and camping stuff.

The hotel staff were kind enough to let us store our suitcase at their luggage hold free of charge so that we could travel light to the festival and after the fest as well. We stopped there twice to switch bags as we went from festival to a relaxing trip in Amsterdam. Being on the way to the festival and across the station it was extremely convenient for us to make stopovers.

As for our actual stay there on the last night, we booked a 'Park, Sleep and Fly' room that includes breakfast and a free shuttle to the airport, which worked perfect for us. We ate dinner at the restaurant in the lobby and that was good too, although my husband's swordfish was quite dry.

What's great is that you can upgrade your room by paying an extra 20 euros and after our hectic trip we were happier to do so. Whats great is that the mini bar was included too. Breakfast spread was really good.

Overall a great stay.

Room Tip: We upgraded from standard to a superior room for 20 euros. The room was decent enough, which makes m...

We stayed at this hotel the night before our early flight back to the States. It was convenient and clean. No slippers or robe...very utilitarian hotel. There was an outlet in the bathroom for my curing iron. We didn't have the breakfast.

Room Tip: The hotel staff couldn't activate our wifi for some reason, but I think it's free otherwise...

We chose this hotel for it's proximity to the airport and free-shuttle service to the airport. The only reason I didn't rate Comfort as excellent is because they only offer substandard size pillows and those drive me nuts!! They are not comfortable!!! But otherwise, loved the simple, clean, modern decor and really spacious, including the bathroom, and very quiet!! The sink is actually separate from the toilet and tub/shower. Speaking of which, the tub was separate from the shower. Interesting design, but water still goes everywhere, even with the shower curtain. Oh, well, there problem, not mine.

The room had AC (yeah!!) and a nice big TV (the only improvement there could be to offer movies on demand).

The breakfast buffet was very good and the coffee excellent! Wifi was also good and free. Staff at the hotel desk were great. The shuttle runs every half hour to the airport.

Other than that, the staff in the restaurant really need some serious customer service training and attitude adjustments. Staff stood around and talked among themselves more than providing quick and thorough service. The one waitress couldn't answer simple questions about the beer selections because she didn't like beer. The food at the restaurant was just o.k. It would really be nice if they offered some snack plates for travelers who come in between meals and are hungry. There are no other restaurants anywhere in the vicinity unless you take a cab or the train into the city.
