The hotel is probably the best value for money of the Hilton hotels chains I have stayed in England and Scotland. There is a convenient free car park and good facilities for both business and leisure.

My family and I stayed here on the 14th August 2013 in what was supposed to be a queen junior suite.
At check in the receptionist told me we'd be staying in a queen deluxe room, I informed her that we'd booked a queen junior suite to which she replied "oh yes that’s right" but when we got to the room it was clearly not a suite.
We rang reception who reassured us that it was a suite. I looked on-line to see the hotels description of a suite which was very different to the room we had and again trudged down to confront the reception.
After a swim with the kids the receptionist pulled us to one side and said we was right and it was a deluxe room and that they'd be refunding us £15.
We didn’t want refunding we wanted the suite we'd booked.
All in all a very disappointing stay

I stayed here earlier this week, in general this hotel was ideal for the one night business stay.
The staff were very helpful and the room/bathroom was clean and modern.
I ordered room service which turned up in good time and tasted extremely good, I would recommend the chicken penne pasta.
I can't imagine this hotel is ideal if you want easy access to glasgow etc but for business use it is perfect. I will look forward to staying again and hopefully I will get to use the pool and gym next time.

Room Tip: I was at the front of the hotel which was quite noisy with the window open. perhaps the rooms at the...

Got a bargain 2 night stay including dinner, bed and breakfast to visit the Hilton Strathclyde with a friend. We really enjoyed our stay at the hotel, only a few little let downs. The room had a brown patterned carpet and in the corner under the dressing table we noticed a decomposed banana skin camouflaged against the carpet. It was there when we arrived and despite the room being cleaned on our second day it was still there when we left. Also, when we checked under the beds before we left we noticed an empty water bottle and an apple. (Also a few euros in change so can't complain at that!) On the whole the hotel was clean and staff were very friendly. Food was great, both breakfast buffet and dinner. The allowance of £23.95 per person for dinner was pretty generous and would easily allow a 3 course meal, well if you can fit it in, portions were huge! I was even offered to wrap the half pizza I could not manage and take to the room for later. We used the hotel leisure facilities on the first evening and thoroughly enjoyed relaxing in the jacuzzi, saunas and steam rooms. Very clean and pretty quiet. As mentioned in some previous reviews the ice machine on our floor was broken but it was no problem to go up to the third floor and use the one there. The location of the hotel was great, right next to the main roads but didn't hear a thing during the night. We didn't have to travel far to visit M & Ds, the Time Capsule and the Showcase Complex. We also went to see a musical in the City Centre which was only around 15 minutes drive away.

Great hotel, just what we were looking for. Will definitely return if we are in the area.

We stayed here for one night dinner, bed and breakfast for our first wedding anniversary, upgrading to a deluxe room in the hope of a touch of luxury - we held high expectations of a Hilton hotel.
We arrived early and had lunch, after which we went to check in, around 2pm. We were told that check in wasn't until 3 but they were just finishing housekeeping so if we could wait they would let us know when the room was ready. At 3.05pm we went back to the desk, quite fed up at having waited an hour -if we'd known it would take so long we would have happily gone into Glasgow for the afternoon - and still our room wasn't ready! 5 minutes later we got the key and headed up. The room was quite basic, clean enough but have had the same standard at a £19 per night travelodge. The only thing deluxe apparently are the dressing gowns, and even those were disappointing, in need of replacement after several hot washes. There is no air conditioning which I understand would never normally be an issue but as we stayed mid heat wave we had a very poor nights sleep. We asked for a fan and had to get another one when the first one didn't work at all. The second had no guard over the blades but at least circulated air a bit.
Dinner was fine but same menu as the lunch bar menu.
All in all very disappointed and will not return, gives Hilton a bad name.
