“Nice room”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 4, 2012

We stayed at the hotel after a wedding and were pleased with the room. It had a king size bed and a couch and table. Nice large flat screen tv. We would be happy to stay there again.
We are 55+ with no kids on this trip, but this hotel had a large play area with pool table and game tables as well as an indoor pool and hot tub. Great place for kids.

i stayed here a few years ago as I have many friends in st. louis. Back then it was an OK accomodation. This time it was a terrific accomodation. The rooms have been upgraded, The bathrooms are modern, the pillows are superb, and the housekeeping is excellent. I am not totally thrilled with their pet friendly approach, but for travelers i do understand it. Just ask for a room that does not have a dog on either side. The yippie types would be an irritation (heard one as I was leaving). That is the only downside. The rest is all positive. Big tip of the hat to the front desk and to the bartender -- (stayed August 17th). Large flat screen TV with a TV channel guide right next to it - wish all hotels followed that lead. Clean - I spilled some excess water on the floor so I used a towel to mop it up. Not a speck of dirt on the towel. huh!! Anyhow, reasonable rates, good location for travelers, pizza delivery in house or nearby, grocery store nearby, pub nearby. All good.

Room Tip: First or second floor away from the pool area IF you don't have children. I had a king bedded ro...

We paid a bit more than we'd expected from a Holiday Inn, but the location was good, the hotel had obviously been well cared for, it was clean, service was good, and the bed was comfortable. I was unclear about the breakfast. I was under the impression that it was included, but when we went downstairs in the morning, there was no breakfast, though we were given coupons for a free coffee or tea and a free soft drink.

We spent one day/night at the Holiday Inn, and had an absolutely wonderful time. The front desk staff was very friendly, and helpful. We had a King pool view room, which was spacious and very clean. The outdoor pool area was clean, and a decent size. The indoor pool, and Holidome area was great. Plenty of tables, games, ping pong, pool, and arcade games. A great family hotel, and we will definitely be returning.

Room Tip: If you are traveling with kids, ask for a room in the Holidome.

We were visiting family in the South St. Louis area, so this was the most convenient hotel. It was kind of a flashback - an old style Holiday Inn complete with Holidome (indoor recreation area). Our adult kids thought that was great since they remembered staying in similar Holiday Inns when they were kids. Front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a computer in the lobby with a printer plus wireless in the rooms. The room was fine - nothing special, but updated and comfortable. We were there on a weekend so there were quite a few kids running around. A good option.

If you want a "kid-friendly" holiday inn near all the great attractions of St. louis, but not in the line of fire, meaning, on the out-skirts, this hotel is worth the short drive sout ofh the city! The rooms are the best i've had as far as holiday inn's are concerned, and as much as I hate to say, the first floor by the pool is comparable to the hyatt regency union station, only easier access to our car, and no valet parking. There is a casual sports bar, and restaurant located in the hotel. The pools, which there are two outside, and two inside, with a luke warn jacizzi, which i guess was set as a low temperature because of the high volume of kids in the pool areas. No problem, though, as the water controls in the rooms were functioning as they should be. If you are luckily enough to score this hotel, via priceline.com or any other website, you wont be disappointed!

Room Tip: Teresa can give you all the help you need, she's the best!

Absolutely the nicest place we stayed all summer. Had to stay in St. Louis for a conference....we were here three nights. Super hotel staff...could not have been better. Room was very spacious, breakfast buffet was OK. The best part were the warm cookies and milk in the lobby in the evening!
Great game room and two pools. There was a group of rowdy teenagers the first night who overtook the pools with parents watching however that was no fault of the hotel.
