3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 17, 2014

Recently stayed at the above because it had a Toby Carvery on site. On arrival it was closed due to refurbishment. No mention on Travelodge website or any confirmation etc. It should have been mentioned as it caused us several problems.

The hotel itself is perfectly placed for travelling, the rooms are clean and it has a very good pub next door with entrance through hotel. However, the difference in price when booking online is disgraceful on Monday I paid £38, a day later I had to pay £50 there was no reason why the price had increased that much. The staff could not understand why it was more expensive either as the hotel had plenty of rooms available. Apparently its decided by Travelodge management. The difference it prices on a daily basis makes it more advisable to book bed and breakfast accommodation for short stays than Travelodge

The Travelodge are doing a lot of Refurbishments and this is in line for that upgrade. The room was much cleaner and more comfortable than The Pear Tree & Country Inn Hotel in Worcester. The bathroom was nice and clean as well. The door to the bathroom was not great but that was no big deal. The Staff were very friendly. This was a last minute add on to a weekend away as we decided to stay an extra night. Very convenient to the Toby Carvery right next door. The staff were more than happy to offer to help with luggage to room which was missing from the other hotel. Much better experience and a vey comfortable bed not hard like previous hotel.

enjoyable stay, clean, pleasant staff etc. Would have hoped after busy day the discovery that housekeeping had forgotten to put mugs in my room could have been rectified a little more easily and perhaps with an apology for inconvenience..... I was travelling with 2 dogs and it actually works out quite expensive, despite the fact that they were much quieter than the family staying in a room above us......

Excellent travelodge, welcoming staff, very clean and comfortable night. We were on the second floor but there is no lift although staff did offer help with our luggage. The added bonus was a Toby Carvery attached to the hotel.

The staff are friendly and its great having the pub right next door. Just to let anyone know who needs a disabled accessible room, 102 is right next to the toilets in the pub. On the other side of the wall are hand driers which are very noisy. If you want to sleep before midnight on Fridays and Saturdays take ear plugs. Also be wary of the crossroads on the main road, if you are coming from the motorway its no right turn! If you don't need a disabled room don't be put off, its a good Travelodge.

Room Tip: Beware of room 102
