“Very quiet and comfortable”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 4, 2013

We stayed at the Premier Inn Bromsgrove for 1 night for a friends birthday. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Excellent value for money and much better than the Travel Lodges that I have stayed in recently.

We have stayed at this Premier Inn on numerous occasions and find it ideal for the Worcester and Birmingham area. It is lovely and clean and the staff are friendly. We had booked because we were going to see Disney on Ice at the LG arena which is only about 20 mins away. It is peaceful and plenty of places to eat not too far away. Will definitely be staying there again.

This is the second time I have stayed in this Premier Inn which is very close to the Artrix Arts Centre.
The place lives up to all it's guarantees but unfortunately only gets an average score from me due to it's mean approach and policy of charging for WiFi usage over just one 30 mins usage. You can't even spread that usage over the day. In this day and age Premier Inns need to try harder on Internet Services.

I have stayed here several times now, I have always found the hotel clean and friendly and the staff are brilliant. I would recommend it to anybody staying in Bromsgove, A special mention to Sue the receptionist, she's great

We stayed for just one night after a family party and I would quite happily have stayed for a week. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Immaculate bathroom and plentiful snowy white towels. It couldn't be more different from the grungy Travelodges if it tried. Friendly, pleasant receptionist who wished us a very good night, and that is what we had. Comfy bed, adequate pillows, and a huge wall-mounted TV. Fantastic value for £29 and well worth booking ahead to get the special rate if you're planning a few days away and just need a comfortable base. We had breakfast next door at the Brewers Fayre, which was okay.

Easy parkingon arrival, friendly helpful staff to greet you. Clean rooms, recently referbished with flat screen wall mounted TV.Stayed with 2 children, beds all made up for them.Tea and Coffee sachets in Reception to stock up with in room if needed. Restaurant steps away from the hotel so it was easy to get food or drink. We all had a lovely nightsbsleep, very quiet.

This hotel is slightly further away from Jct 4 of the M5 than the Premier Inn at Birmingham South (Rubery) but still fairly conveniently located.

The car park is shared with the Brewers Fayre restaurant next door. Whilst, in theory, this gives plenty of room for parking, most customers of the restaurant, in common with most people staying at the Premier Inn, park in the same fairly limited area - which, of course, gets full quite quickly (particularly on a Thursday night when I stayed).

As a consequence of the volume of cars, it is perhaps quieter to stay in a room facing the David Lloyd leisure centre on the opposite side of the building.

The room was up to usual Premier Inn standards. The service, however, was definitely better than usual ! I particularly liked the little touch of having extra coffee, milk and sugar sachets in jars in the reception area. The two sachets of coffee that are standard, in a room, are never enough for me and usually I have to go back to reception and ask for more. At least here I could help myself without troubling reception!

The staff in the restaurant next door were also particularly friendly and I couldn't fault their attitude and friendliness. Unfortunately, this was let down by the appearance of the food. My dessert came out looking like it had either been out all day, or perhaps more likely that it had just been slopped onto the plate. The buffet didn't look particularly appetising at 8.30pm either and I chose not to eat from there.

In the morning, service at breakfast was also notable for its friendliness. The food was delivered quickly but, again, looked unremarkable.

Room Tip: Rooms on the side of the David Lloyd leisure centre will probably be quieter overnight.
