“A good find.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2013

I found this restaurant after looking on trip advisor for nearby restaurants and we visited last nite. Despite being out of the way it is easy to find. The atmosphere was nice and friendly and staff were very helpful. The food was excellent and definitely a cut above other Indian restaurants in bromsgrove. The price of the meal was very reasonable as well so all in all I will definitely be returning again !!

“Bit mixed”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2013

We regularly visit Zingas in Finstall but were looking for a change and a bit of a treat for a night out.
Positives
The restaurant looks lovely, very nicely decorated
There is a bar to go in before/after, which is important because of the location
The staff were very friendly and attentive in just the right way
The chicken pathia was very tasty
The naan bread tasted very fresh and handmade
Negatives
As it is a little way out you have to get a taxi if drinking, which is fine...but the prices are also higher than a normal Indian so combining to make a more expensive night out
My husband had a stuffed pepper starter which was average and his curry was also a little tasteless. Shame as we had high hopes
The restaurant seemed to die at about 9pm. I suppose this is because they don't get the traditional later trade after people have been the pub? Maybe they could offer a discount for booking a table after 9pm and encourage people to go for a drink in their bar first?
Not quite sure if we'd return, would probably need an offer. Hard to compete with Zingas.
They are also missing a marketing opportunity on The Oakalls as hadn't heard of it before looking on TripAdvisor. Maybe post an offer through doors?
