We spent a long weekend exploring Worcestershire and Shropshire in October - Our decision to stay in this part of the world was partly influenced by the prospect of a meal at On The Rocks, and boy was the decision justified!
Keen to make the most of the experience of cooking our meal on the rocks, we opted for a sharing platter of tuna, steak and scallops, with an extra portion of king prawns. We certainly chose wisely, the tuna was sublime, the scallops meaty and flavoursome, the steak full of flavour, and the prawns were lovely and big. A side order of hand cut chunky chips went very well, and the accompanying condiments were excellent too.
We made short work of a very drinkable bottle of Pinot Grigio, and I could not resist the sticky toffee pudding, while my husband demolished with gusto a piece of white chocolate and raspberry cheesecake.
We enjoyed every minute of our meal at On The Rocks and will definitely return again one day :)
P.S. Sorry it has taken me four months to post this review Caroline ;) Better late than never!
