We visit this restaurant about every 2/3 months, on a Sunday evening. Yesterday was such an occassion. Apart from 4 other people no one else was there. We sat down and noted the place was a little chilly, a fire was provided after a request at our table, we also noted the other group had also moved from the window seats hence suggesting they had suffered the same issues.
Orders were taken for food and drinks. be it that the waiter kept on using the word "dear" which my sister-in-law did point out to the individual was not acceptable. The wait for the starters was considerable, again the waiter kept using the word "dear" which aggitated our group. Another member of staff approached us to order more drinks, this was refused as both males were driving. The waiter then suggested that the ladies could drive, again not the right thing to say.
The main course then arrived, which was considered not up to the normal standards of the establishment. considering we have eaten here on about 10 previous occassions. Our guests eat here more frequently and confirmed standards had dropped, with this experiance being the worst yet. We also noted that when the bill came the prices seem to have increased. The place is spotlessly clean, with the table layout of a high standard, but we all considered "Things Aint What They Used To Be" Looks like we will have to find another place to go in the future Trip Advisor being the driver.
