Owner description: One of Scotland’s noblest medieval churches. The lower part of the tower is Romanesque, but the larger part of the building is of the 13th century. Sir Rowand Anderson restored the Cathedral in 1889-93.

“Impressive Place of Worship for such a small town”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed December 1, 2012

Only saw building from outside, but if I was religious I would probably wish to worship there.
The building was partially lit inside and looked warm and inviting.

“Worth a visit good descriptors.”

Good amount of information and an impressive building both inside and out. Interesting to see the work being done by the local schools in Africa

“Gorgeous cathedral”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2012

I loved this site, the cathedral is situated in a gorgeous little town. It's one of the oldest cathedrals in Scotland, with beautiful architecture and stained glass. Worth the visit.

A lovely place to see.... A lovely story of history from this small town cathedral - plus it's free for a quick wander round.
