“excellent stay”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2009

i felt i must write this review as so many of the reviews are so of putting on this site and need to be taken off now as they date back to 2005 and it is not a true description of the hotel now....
we have just stayed with a group of friends and family, for my freinds daughters hen weekend and had a fantastic weekend,
so anybody that like me that was being put of by the bad reveiws dont with a capital D AS THE HOTEL IS SPOTLESS CLEAN THE ROOMS ARE FAB THE BATHROOMS ARE SPOTLESS AND THE TOWLES AND BATHROBES SO SOFT AND WHITE .. its rubbish what some people have been saying and for £60 per person for a nights stay evening meal breakfast next morning and entrance to the nightclub what more could you ask for ...
take my word for it and try it you wont be dissapointed and if you are for the price you pay you had better go to the RITZ....

I stayed for just one night with 8 friends to celebrate a 50th birthday. We all had a brilliant time and couldnt fault a single thing. We only paid £60 each and for this we had a lovely 3 course evening meal and breakfast, the use of pool, jacuzzi, steam and sauna, large twin bedded room with en-suite and balcony and free entrance to the beer keller and night club. The hotel staff were all very efficient and friendly and we cant wait to make a return visit.

I went for a weekend theatre break to London and this hotel was included in the coach companies tour. I was very impressed by the hotel and could find no fault. The rooms were lovely and clean. The staff were nothing but couteous and helpful . I would gladly stay here again.

shabby furniture , rude staff. they have a large painting in reception with a big hole in the miiddle thats just for starters. look a little closer and it gets much worse. been to less expensive hotels that have been far better in appearance and much better service. i do not recomend this hotel if you have high expectations of it . WHAT A LET DOWN

The hotel is a good basic for business travellers. Facilities could do with a facelift and perhaps an updating is needed in the bedrooms, esp, the tv's with the digital switch over occurring soon.

Room service menu is pricey but ok.

Staff friendly and efficient at reception and gym staff know their stuff.

This has got to be the worst hotel i have stayed in. Its overpriced for the standard apparently 4 or 5 star, i think not. The whole place is dirty, the staff are all rude and arragant.

The leisure centre looked like something you would find in the basement of a hostel, absolutely disgusting.

My husband booked an overnight stay for us as i am disabled. There was a bug on the dinner table, fellow guests used offensive language which appeared to be acceptable. My crutches were taken away from me in the restaurant. There were blood staines on the bed linen. The table we were sat at was in front of the fire exit. Also the room was so noisey we were moved around mid night to a higher floor without assistance. The hotel will not deal with our complaint after numerous phone calls to them they keep saying next week they will write. It was obvious they do not want disabled people in their hotel. It a disgrace and a waste of money. The Hilton is by far the better hotel in Bracknell.

  • Liked — leaving
  • Disliked — the rude staff and the noise, apart from not dealing with disabled people
