“Hello, hello, service please!!!?”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed November 4, 2012 via mobile

Harvesters can be hit or miss; today was a miss. How difficult is it to deliver chain restaurant food? The food was okay but the service was slow, confused and just plain bad!!!! Shame as I have been to some good harvester's in the past.

“Good food and good value”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 8, 2012

A mix of American and British fare. Larger portions than normal for England. Prices were very reasonable for a family dinner.

“Food average, service glacial”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed July 22, 2012

There's a retro appeal to going to a Harvester. They're not as ubiquitous as they once were. Unfortunately this one was clearly fitted out in the mid-eighties and hasn't seen as much as a paintbrush since.

Having waited 15 minutes for a table for two, most of which we spent stood waiting to be served at the bar, we waited another 20 minutes to place an order, which then took about half an hour to arrive. The mains were average pub grub somewhat overpriced; the £15 rib eye steak was disappointing quality. Eventually my friend had to have his main boxed up to take away, as we were already running late, but even that and the bill took another 15 minutes to sort out. The only redeeming feature was that the staff themselves, despite there clearly not being enough of them, were courteous, welcoming and apologetic throughout. They seemed to be quite well practiced at that last one.

All in all, a disappointment, and there are definitely better options, even in Bracknell.

“A favourite Haunt”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 10, 2012

Terrific, friendly service. Very accommodating table staff. we like the atmosphere (and the salads... and the pork ribs...) the new Cadbury's sundae is out of the world - we shared one, of course!
