“Mixed feelings, nice service, but avoid quattro fromaggi pizza”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 31, 2010

The atmosphere was nice, the wine was good but I definitely advise you not to take the quattro fromaggi pizza : strangely enough it comes as a calzone-shaped pizza so you have to open it to see there is 98% of mozarella, 2% of blue cheese and I couldn't find any of the two other cheese. the whole thing is then very sickly.
My girlfriend enjoyed her pasta though.

“Cozy enviroment and good tapas”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 25, 2010

I liked this little restaurant good. Quiet, unlike some of the restaurants around, but perfect for a romantic dinner. We had tapas, or platters, wich was very good. The waiters were polite and friendly and you felt like the service was personal. There was local paintings on the walls that you could buy.

“Pizza/Pasta best in town!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2010

This restaurant is suited to family eating and we used it 3 times in 10 days. The pasta dishes and pizza are excellent, definatley the best from the restaurants we tried in St Julians. However there is plenty more to choose from on menu.
Service good and prices generally less than 10 euros for main course. Good wine list. Busy on every occasion, so you might want to book if you want a certain time or don't want to wait.

“Great food. Attentive friendly service...”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 17, 2010

Great food. Attentive friendly service and we felt good value. We started with the Maltese starter platter which was interesting and tasty followed by risotto for mrs trew and seafood linguini for me. Later in the evening the waiter or manager (don't know which) came over and was happy to chat to us about Malta as it was our first night on holiday. Overall a lovely way to start our holiday.

“Fresh Tasty and Very Good Value”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2010

Visitied this restaurant twice last week . The staff are excellent , the food is good . First time we had 2 different vegetarian salads - both fresh and tasty . Ordered a nice bottle of local wine , very reasonable .
Second time we had olives ( juicy yummy ones ) then 2 different pizzas , they slightly modified one for me . Again good food , good wine and excellent value .
Best meals we had on the island - probably best value too .
