Its stated clearly in the voucher we bought and numerous website that the hotel provide a one way complimentary shuttle service to Nagoya hill shopping centre.

Understanding of one way trip is sending us there only. We tried asking the driver to fetch us back and was quoted 30,000IDR.

However, when we requested a second visit to the shopping centre on the same day, we were refused. Reasons as belowed,

1) the complimentary shuttle is only once a day.- we argue that it is not made known to us in any means but the male hotel staff insist that is the case and is stated in our e voucher. He refered to it and told us it is stated, 'one way', we told him that is not the meaning and he insist it is and promptly ended the debate.

2) hotel has only one shuttle service and is schedule to send guests to the ferry terminal- reason perfectly valid, but throughtout the 10mins we are arguing, we see no other guests around wanting to use it. In the end a female companion ask can we pay for it than the hotel staff tell us it cost 55,000IDR to fetch us to the shopping centre. Upon agreeing to that, we were fetch over. What happened to the guests wanting to go to the ferry terminal?

hotel room is reasonable with it pricing but there are bits of cucumber near our safe box! Made known to house keeping at 1600hr who told us he will get it clean up 'later', but nothing was done as of now at 0300hr local time. Other than this housekeeping staff are generally good as they deliver our request within acceptable waiting time.

Wifi is usable in the room which i am using now for this review.

Cab from nagoya hill shopping centre to the hotel cost 35,000IDR, presume any timing of the day. We took two back at around midnight.

Sound proofing is poor, light sleepers be prepared to be waken up by motors travelling around the area at night. One just passed by as i typed. There's a futsal court just across the hotel, less than 20m away. They are still players playing now at 0308hrs and applause and whistle can be heard when the players did a messi or a ronaldo. I am sure one just scored a good goal from the applause i heard.

Stayed here for a night. The location is a bit iffy at night; you'd have to cross a not-too-safe looking area.

The rooms were certainly run-down, and the corridors had that smell of years of burnt cigarette stubs that some bad hotels do.

The guy at the reception was pleasant enough, but apparently, the hotel prices itself in SGD first, and IDR next. So if the IDR rate changes by the time you've checked out, you'd have to pay the differential.

The buffet breakfast was okay.

Thank you for your genuine feedback for Triniti Hotel Batam, really appreciate it, refer to your comment below we would like to inform you that we are keeping up upgrading the hotel both service and the hotel product, regarding the cigarettes smell I have to inform you that we are not sure which room you were located, but we are pretty that you were located into the smoking floor, I have to inform you that your may request to our reservation before / prior to your arrival at the hotel for a non smoking room that might available, however since you have stayed since August 2011, the hotel has done a lot of improvement since then

Regarding the currency, I would like to explain the original rate of the hotel in the website is SGD however the posting rate into our system is available only for local Rupiah, since you have paid the 10% deposit into our website of course the balance 90% of the payment you will be paid at the hotel reception which will be SGD or IDR at your preference

The exterior is ok but interior is very run down. The bed and sheets are fine but the 2 side tables has lots of unsightly cigaratte marks. It is a 8 to 10-min walk to Nagoya Hill shopping mall but walking at night is not safe. The free shutter is only 1-way, guests have to come back ourselves. What I am glad is that the service staff are friendly and helpful, we asked for a water kettle, the first one brought to us did not work and they promptly changed us another one. Breakfast is decent. I heard from other guests that the massage at the hotel is quite good. For 90mins, they charge USD$12 which is worth trying.Overall I think I will pay a little for a more decent hotel elsewhere

Room Tip: ask for a higher floor.

Late check-in and Early Check-out
Limited breakfast. Best is the toasted bread.
Dirty bedsheets and smelly pillow covers. (blankets with "red" stains).
No answer from the reception and house-keeping line after ample tries.
Front-Line receptionist unable to speak proper English, and was kept waiting while they spoke in "unknown" language believed to be Malay.

Good is the location for people who likes shopping. Ideal place.

Far from seafood Paradize and nongsa beach facilities.

Overall Experience:
If able to avoid, my travel partners will not head there again.

Allow me to apologize for the inconvenience cause during your stay with us, we are now in the process of buying the new linen for the hotel which soon to be arrived at the hotel.
Some of our reception they are still under probation, which they might not fully understand your language, I will convey your feedback to our senior reception in order to speed the training of his staff

We are town hotel which next to the biggest mall in Batam, if you are looking into beach resort, I think you should go for other way, while seafood we are closer to seafood restaurant at Harbourbay Ferry Terminal with 5 minutes drive and Golden Prawn seafood Restaurant which only 15 minutes drive from the hotel

We do hope that you would give us another opportunity to be at your service and change your perception about our hotel

We stay in this hotel for 3D2N. The room was quite ok but the location of the hotel is not that good. Maybe that is why they have a free shuttle from the Hotel to Nagoya Hill. I have read in the review that that the free shuttle is only 1 way then I was surprised when the driver asked me if what time will they pick me up or maybe its just because ive waited for 30 mins for them to send us in Nagoya then the return trip we waited for 1 hour. But what matters most is they apologized for the delay. I also work in a hotel so I understand that they don't have enough people to do some of the job.

Me and my wife ordered food from their In room dining, the food is good especially the fried rice. The service is not that good but I think quite ok for this type of hotel. Most of the staff can speak simple English so you will not have a problem in communicating with them.

This is the worst hotel I ever had experience!! Wanted to send email to them but can't even find.
Anyway, I just came back. Stayed over the weekend. After a tour, check-in and shock to find a big cockroach!! Then a few more!! Went to change rm, they said no more rm. Then hse-keeping came n just kill with the broom. Not sure if all are killed but I'm very scared of it thus insisted that I changed. Yes, they changed. I am still not peaceful about the rm. And indeed, just few minutes in bed, we are itching and I on the light. We saw a bug on pillow!! Hubby bring it to the recep, they killed it with their finger.. then we found more on the bed!! They changed the bed sheet and expect us to sleep again.. without changing the blanket!! Anyway, if there is bugs, no matter you changed the sheet or what, they are still there and they don't seemed to understand. They insisted that there is no more room, yet there seems to be always a spare room somewhere.. we changed to a single bed rm. Don't sleep in peace but too tired thus slept for a while.. Before, we asked for extra towel, they say don't have. Only 1 slipper in rm and it's dirty. Asked for long then when we sleep, they came. Pillow can only have one extra.
Anyway, the next day, we had bites all over!! Mine is worst as I'm fair.. my bites are all big n swollen n itchy!!! Argh!!
Overall, we have changed rm 3 times in one night. And their free shuttle is only one way to nagoya hill and it's until 4pm only!! What kind of service they have!! Gd thing that the mall is just near... but hard to cross the road.. their drivers just anyhow drive!! Will not ever go there anymore!! I'm still suffering right now..

Thank you for your recent stay and feedback, we are terribly sorry for your experience stayed at our property, referring to your comment below I have went thru with my House Keeping together with our pest control contractor which finally we have to terminate the contract to the new one
For your information, the hotel was running full house on the day of your stay therefore our Front Office found difficulties to get the room to change yours, which finally they found of the no show guests to replace.
Regarding the schedule to Nagoya Hill it is available until 5pm and to return to hotel please inform our reception prior

My experience in staying at this triniti hotel is a shock of my life!! This hotel is basic of the basic. It does not even worth the price of staying there. First thing, when i walk into this hotel lobby i do not have a very pleasant and welcome feeling. The lobby is warm, even with the aircon switch on. This is still acceptable to me, but there is more to come. When i walk into my room, I was shock. I wonder how this hotel expect their customer to stay in a hotel room with stain bedsheet, sticky cabinet by the side of the bed, unpleasant odour smell in the room, strands of hair can be found in the drawer of the cabinet. I wonder how they expect their customer to sleep in that room. It is so dirty. The most basic thing to expect from a hotel room is cleaniness, but they did not fulfil. A hotel room is a place for someone to have a pleasant night sleep after a long day, and this hotel cannot fulfil that. Next is the location, this hotel is located at a deserted area with not much lighting at its surrounding, it is not safe to walk back to hotel at night. The only thing that come to mind is horrible and terrible. The price i paid to stay in this hotel, I would prefer to stay in mercure hotel. It is only a few dollar more to stay in mercure hotel and i can have a pleasant night sleep. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone even it is only 5-10 min away from nagoya hill shopping mall but its surrounding is unsafe, you will have nightmare.

After reading your comment I would like to highlight with you the following point:
1. Regarding the temperature of the lobby, we notice that upon your arrival at the it was about to big rain with thunderstorm from the hot sunny day, that was influence the temperature in the lobby slightly higher and it getting cooler when it’s raining
2. Regarding the cleanliness of the room, I do apologize for this inconvenience but however our housekeeping is 24hour on duty that can be contacted to re-clean your room or change the stain bed sheet if it so, but they were rejected when they are willing to do so and event they offer you to change the room despite they are in the fully book situation but their effort were not event listened by you.
3. I assumed that you did not stay over at Triniti Hotel, so how can you create a mind of unsafe surrounding at the hotel at night

It’s about mentality and expectation to pay for a two star price with four star expectation that we have to adjust, well, Triniti Hotel is a budget two star hotel, which not make any sense to me with your comparison to a four star mercure hotel, so where is the objective of your comment

However, we thank you for your comments and I think you have a wrong perception and expectation of Trinti Hotel Batam
