This is a beautiful beach, but beware, it is ice cold. Even in the height of summer, the water temperature never really gets much warmer than about 14 degrees celcius, and the area is exposed to strong, cold winds directly in from the north sea. I visited in mid July and you could not even go on the beach without wearing a warm, wind resistant coat. Going in the water is out of the question unless you enjoy "ice bathing".
