Really interesting museum giving a very good insight into the lives of the local breton people under Nazi occupation and the struggle by the resistance who played a unique and valuable part in brittany at the time of the D day landings.Anyone who is interested in the events of the second world war should come here.
There is a picnic area and a creperie in grounds surrounding the museum.Have been here with teenage kids boys and husband ,didn't think being a woman that I would enjoy but I did.Guide book in English given for duration of visit.
Not expensive to get in ,few euros .It's a little out of the way but worth putting in the sat nav and there are other places of interest close by ,Josselin,Lizo for example.
I would urge anyone who has an interest in history to visit this museum as it is under threat of closure due to low visitor numbers(not well advertised) and that closure would be a loss to us all.
