Room very clean and good theming of 'cars' without being over the top - my three year old loved it. Still some renovation going on in the grounds. In mator area which was good - near the main building for breakfast and on right side for theme park but away from foot traffic early in the morning and late at night. Queues for breakfast horrendous, breakfast selection pretty basic but adequate. Milk next to the cereal rather than the other side of the dining area might be a good idea.
Woken up at midnight last night by loud, thumping music. Rang reception who told us it was the disney village when infact it was a night event at the New York hotel - must have been worse for the other hotels and completely unacceptable for a family orientated place.
Oh, and we were on first floor and there was no lift, would be a struggle with pushchair and babies.

This was my first trip to Santa Fe and to Disneyland. We stayed in Sally block which is the furthest away from reception and the park.
Check in at reception was easy and the lady explained everything we needed to know and how to get to our room.
First impression, well, the hallway stank of smoke and the ancient lift was a bit concerning.
The room was lovely and warm on arrival and was spotless although a bit cramped for a family of 4. The beds I found very comfortable and the room was cleaned and fresh towels daily.
The only meal we ate at Santa Fe was breakfast. It was busy everyday but not as bad as some reviews say. There was meat, cheese, toast, cereal ,French pastries and fruit salad ect.
We got the bus to the parks everyday and back. Again, I didn't find this too bad but there are busy periods like after dreams where everyone tries to jump on the push and squeeze.
If we visit Disney again I probably would choose to pay more and stay at one of the other hotels as Santa Fe was very basic, but good enough if you're on a budget I suppose.

We went to the hotel in November 2014. It's on Disney's value hotel section but is still comfortable. We stayed in the mater building so it wasn't too far away from the main building and is about 1/2 minutes longer on your journey to walk to disney than the sequoia or the Newport. Breakfast is a continental buffet of cold foods but u can get hot toast and hot drinks too. We've stayed in this hotel many times before and will most likely be back again.

This hotel is advertised as a basic hotel and compared to the other price ranges of hotels it is noticeably different. That said, the room was clean, the beds were comfy and we had everything that we needed for a short stay. The buffet breakfast is simple and I would recommend getting there early (between 7 and 7:30am) as the queues can build up very quickly otherwise, particularly on weekends when the park is expected to be very busy. We had the buffet dinner at the hotel one night which offered a good range of food, especially as my partner and I are both vegetarian.

The hotel is conveniently located for access to the Disney village (about a 10 minute walk) which you cut through on the way to the Parks, but there is the shuttle bus from reception which runs regularly.

The only problem we really had was that the swipe card lock for the door was a bit loose in the wall which meant that we had to master the art of holding the lock in the right place before we could get the swipe card to register! We did call to report it to reception when we first got in to the room to ask someone to fix but no-one had by the end of our 3 night stay.

We stayed here during a 2-night trip to Disneyland Paris through Newmarket Holidays. We arrived at the hotel in the dark but easily found our block & room. We were instantly pleased with the cosy room, as our coach journey had been chilly. My instant impression was that both the bedroom & bathroom were very clean & tidy. The decor was done in the theme of "Cars" which was nicely done & not too over-the-top. The bathroom had a bath & a modern shower as well as a huge mirror. There were 2 big double beds which were so comfy! My only complaint about the room (and it's a tiny one) is that one of my pillowcases had dried blood stains on it.
Disneyland is just a 10 minute walk along the river which is perfect but I believe there is a free shuttle bus too.
Breakfast time fits in well with all the other reviews - I think it's fair to say that it was mayhem! We went at 10 past 7 & it was already really busy. The choices were cereal, pastries & fruit - a nice continental choice. The chocolate croissants were especially good! As we were leaving the dining room at half 7 it was starting to get even busier so I would recommend going at 7 if you can, & then at least you can get going to Disneyland!
I would definitely stay in this hotel again because it was the cheapest Disney option & we were literally in the park from 8am until 11pm so really only slept in the room, I don't see the need to pay extra to stay in a "better" one.

Myself and my girlfriend stayed here for three nights from the 14th-17th of December. After reading the reviews I was a little unsure about what to expect. We arrived around 8:30pm...reception was quiet and within minutes we were directed to our room. Our room was Cars themed which was a really nice surprise! The beds were comfy and the room was clean. Because your staying in a Disney hotel the park opens at 8. We were up early and arrived at the breakfast hall just before 7 by 7:30 we had finished and made our cheese and ham rolls for our lunch (everyone does this and trust me is saves so much money!) we hopped on the shuttle bus (which at this time was rather quiet) and were pretty much the first in the park! Most nights we didn't get back until 9 or 10 and again it was quieter on the shuttles at this time. Another tip would be to either make reservations for restaurants or eat before the park closes. On the first night we went to McDonald's and waited 45mins because it was incredibly busy! The second night we ate at Annette's Diner at around 5. It was quiet then so we didn't need to make a reservation! Because we only had two days for us it was about making the most of our time. We spent more time in the park than in our hotel. But the time we did spend was great. We booked through a coach holiday company and for the price we payed and all that we relieved we honestly couldn't complain. If your looking for a base to touch down in and a bed for the night and to save money this is the place for you!

This is a basic hotel but a good base for visiting Disney parks. Room was very clean. We went to breakfast early most mornings and it was fine but arrived late a couple of mornings and it looked like a stampede. We didn't go in.
